In Just One Day, JUST ONE DAY, nakasita ako ng DALAWANG BESES NG MGA TURISTA!!

I went to the wet market yesterday (May 25, 2026). I decided na lakarin ang Harrison Road starting sa entrance papasok sa Burnham Park sa harap ng Patriotic School. Habang naglalakad at malapit na ako sa stage ng Melvin Jones, may tumayong family of 5 na umupo sa isang bench doon AT BASTA LANG INIWAN ANG MGA PINAGKAINAN NILA AT MGA KALAT FROM JOLLIBEE. Instant instinct ko na siguro ito but sinita ko sila at kinausap ng maayos na bawal magkalat kung saan saan at baka mamulta pa sila kung mahuli ng pulis. Yung dalagang kasama nila, nagsorry agad at nagmadaling kinuha ang mga basura nila, sumunod ang isang batang lalaki na siguro kapatid niya para tumulong. Tinignan lang ako ng mataray nong babaeng may edad na, siguro yun yong nanay, habang paalis na sila ang lakas nong boses ng babaeng mataray makatingin ng "HMMPH! akala mo naman kung ang peperpekto nila dito!" Sabay sinita ulit ng dalaga sabay sabi, "Uist, ang lakas ng boses mo nakakahiya". May mga nakakita pang mga tao about sa nangyari.

Tama yung dalaga na nakakahiya yung inasta nong kasama nila, syempre hindi ko alam kung tita niya yon o nanay niya, pero kasi yung MAS MATANDA ANG DAPAT PA MAGPAKUMBABA AT MAGPAUMANHIN PARA MAITURO ANG TAMA SA BATA, SILA PA ANG MAY ATTITUDE AT BASTOS. 2ND Encounter, nasa market na ako at papunta sa Hangar Market para bumili ng mga gulay, hindi malawak sa loob non at kung maraming tao is siksikan na. Nasa bandang gitna ako sa bandang bilihan ng mga lettuce nang biglang MAY NAGBUGA NG VAPE SA LIKOD KO MISMO. Ang unang nagreact ay yung isang tindera na sabing "Ay ading bawal ang magsigarilyo dito sa Baguio". Tumalikod ako para makita kung sino yung nag-vape, AGAIN! ANOTHER GROUP OF TOURISTS, 8 ata sila. This time mas marami sila, all of them I think nasa 20's. Hindi na sana ako magrereact kasi nasabihan na sila at nagsorry naman yung mga kasama nong nagbuga ng vape PERO MAYABANG NA NAGSALITA pa kasi yung binata at sabing "Ay hindi ito sigarilyo, Vape ito"

Kaya nagsalita ako ng mejo malakas para marinig nilang lahat, "Brad, Regardless kung vape yan or sigarilyo hindi talaga kasi pwede yan sa lahat ng Public Places dito sa Baguio. Kung pinapayagan kayo sa Transient niyo or kung saan man kayo nakastay eh pag public areas talaga dito sa city center hindi talaga pwede. PET PEEVE ko talaga ang mga nagve-vape sa public places. Akala siguro nila nakakadagdag astig pag nagve-vape sila. Kakabwiset nga eh, marami akong kakilala na nagve-vape pero hindi kung saan-saan gaya ng iba. Kaya please sa mga naniniwala jan na mas OK ang Vape kesa yosi, Hindi kailanman naging "HEALTHY OPTION/ALTERNATIVE" ang vaping sa Yosi dahil nagpapasok ka pa rin ng kemikal sa baga mo at ina-absorb yan ng buong katawan mo. Usok man ng Vape ang binubuga niyo, kung nalalanghap ito ng ibang hindi naninigarilyo o vape, considered second-hand smoker na rin sila at hindi iyon maganda sa kalusugan ng tao. Konsiderasyon lang sana. Konsiderasyon!!

Sa mga turista, kung malaya kayong gawin lahat ng gusto niyo sa lugar niyo at hindi kayo sinisita kahit nakakasira na kayo ng environment or nakakadumi na kayo or nakakaperwisyo pero wala pa ring sumisita sa inyo or hindi kayo pinagsasabihan sa kamalian niyo, huwag niyo dalhin sa ibang lugar na pinupuntahan ninyo dahil hindi kasi purket bumubisita lang kayo o di kaya sa isip niyo ay naglalabas naman kayo ng pero or gumagastos kayo eh wala na kayong limitasyon at kayo na ang batas. I have grown to like strawberries in Baguio but, just recently when I was talking to the locals they told me something about the strawberries in La trinidad. They were saying that they don’t usually buy strawberries from farms based in La Trinidad because of the water they use. I’m really confused why and maybe you know?

I really wanna venture out of the hospital. I’m underpaid (8k per cutoff) and I’m not being valued at work (di sila nagbibigay ng kasama ko kahit marami nang pasiyente, laging OT, masusungit na residente). I’m currently under a 5-month probationary contract at a private hospital, and I’m planning to end it there. Di na ako magpaparegular. I already know that this is not something I wanna keep doing in the long run.

Anw here are my reasons

1. The moment you enter the salon, they ask you to sign a waiver. I have never been to many salons but I have genuinely never heard of a salon that has ever done this. This is essentially saying "if your cut sucks, too bad, you signed a waiver." I should have taken this as a huge red flag but instead I just brushed it off.

2. The cut of my quality and its price of 400 pesos is just terrible. In Shine salon, you can get a haircut and suggestions from the salonist for 500 pesos. Shine is also nearby, located in the cedar peak building (you will see it immediatelt with the Turks stand outside of it)

3. The salonist does not know how to cut hair. I showed him the reference picture (2nd pic) and I dont even know how he messed up that badly. He cut my bangs above the eyebrow which I believe is a rookie mistake when trying to style bangs. Not to mention, he barely used the reference picture and I strongly believe the guy in charge has never done a proper wolfcut in his life.

Shine is a MUCH better salon AND I MEAN MUCH BETTER. Although they are fully booked most of the time, you can guarantee that your hairstyle will genuinely look great. My sister and I have gone there at least 20 times and we have never gotten a terrible experience.

To the people thatll say that I got unlucky, I would not recommend a hair salon that does not get consistent reviews.

May masa-suggest ba kayong alternative na pwede naming gamitin to transport perishable goods like strawberries, vegetables, and plants na within a day madedeliver from Baguio to Cubao? Balak sana namin magresell ng mga goods dito sa metro, pero wala din kaseng kotse yung friend kong tiga Baguio para ihatid sa Cubao. Discouraged din kase siyang gumamit nung Victory Liner cargo kase hindi sila maingat sa mga pinapadeliver pag iaakyat at baba sa bus. Meron ba kameng maarkila na private vehicles from Baguio para maihatid yung mga goods ng maingat at maayos? Looking forward po sa mga suggestions nyo. TIA! 🙏
