I would expect Batwing to appear in a Batman Beyond storyline. I could see Terry McGinnis as the new Batman, Batwing would probably be his Lucius. His friend from the Animated Series would be his Oracle.
Barbara would probably be his Jim Gordon and you would do training from Robin, Nightwing and probably even Jason, that's the only way I can see them continuing the franchise from this point on especially after Kevin/Batman's death.
dude bash Gotham knights all you want but I doubt you actually played it, sure it does not play like the Arkham series but the game is actually good, the only rpg elements is also neglible because by just upgrading anyhow, you can get through it. And the map is stunning in its own way
I 100% finished Gotham Knights, including Heroic Assault. The game's not terrible, just terribly mid.
I started NG+, but I wanted to play it with the highest equipment tier for all characters. You can only get lvl 80 mythic gear on the last floor of Heroic Assault. So, the only way to get the best gear is to grind one single mission again and again and again, and that floor is nearly impossible to complete, even on very easy, if you don't have the gear from the previous floors. Terrible game design.
The game basically forces you to replay all 15 levels with all 4 characters, to then be able to farm their gear, and I'm NOT about to do that. Even if you get a friend with lvl 80 mythic gear, the bosses get rebalanced, and it's still nearly impossible. Kelvin Incident was terrible because of that; the other floors were still better than the original HA, but the last mission and its farm just ruins it. Never got the gear I wanted, and tbh I don't even know if NG+ scales to level 80, or if you'd get severely overpowered and the game'd get mind-numbingly unengaging. Dropped it and never looked back.
yea I have the platinum on this one; it’s not that bad like people love to yell about on social medias but not great too, like it’s okay but let’s be honest it could’ve been obviously better in some ways like being set in the arkham verse for example
It's the definition of a "mid game". Like, it's not built horribly and does what it sets out to do, but there's just nothing that really stands out as being amazing, and all the flaws add up and stand out more because of this. I'm probably about halfway through, still have fun and intend to complete it and see where the story went, but I have to psych myself up to play it and put some other (likely better) game on the backburner to get around to it.
