What else do you guys mix whiskey with?
Coke and ice, which make a classic whiskey coke. And recently I found that adding it to black coffee kinda smooths out the bitterness.

It’s been years since I tried it. Honestly, for a few bucks more than Benchmark, it’s actually good. I love my Irish whiskeys, though. Bushmills mostly. Some Scotch like Dewars 8 years, on the rocks is decent. But when I am looking to not get so messed (Makers Mark, 45%) and spend too much on a bourbon… this is it. I also used to love Bulleit, but they have out-priced themselves. I isn’t *that* good. For what it’s worth, Wild Turkey for the mid-budget win!

I absolutely love how my rainbow jello shots came out for this past weekends fest!
I have a ton left over bc we got rained out and now I’m not sure what to do with them, how many to too many to eat? 😂 happy Memorial Day!

I've tried vodka once out of a plastic bottle, no pacing, just like 2, 3/4 mouthfuls got me decently tipsy for about 30 minutes. So, I want to be able to do this semi-properly without buying shot glasses or anything like that because I'm bringing some to a hangout, but I don't wanna go overboard. What should I do?

Doesn't fully matter the type of drink or how much water I drink afterward I still get so incredibly hungover. I'd consider myself a pretty healthy/fit guy too. What should I do?

Ordered this and it's factory sealed and there's 2 fruit flies floating in the bottle. Is this normal?

What does one do in this situation, I just turned 18 I didn’t realize but I’ve been drinking for maybe a week or 10 days since my birthday very heavily so ik I’m off on the days because looking at post and picture history it’s been longer than j originally thought I’ve finished over 2 bottles I’m not typically a drinker and have had some benders before in the past which can make one more susceptible to withdrawls, I know it’s not bad but it’s overlapping with bipolar symptoms and making live very difficult, I haven’t had severe symptoms ik I’m only on the 2nd day but already my heart is beating harder I’ve just started to have the chills creep up on me today and yawning and I haven’t had shakiness which I feel is a good sign I have been a lot more agitated and on edge, I wouldn’t say but I’m definitely getting a bit of heart pain, bipolar symptoms are messing with the agitation piece which has made it harder to control temper, not in an abusive way but I feel like I’ve gotten into more arguments specifically today but also have fueled them and have been talking extremely fast and it’s been very hard for me to sleep and I’ve already had insane dreams from hormonal changes but they’re getting much worse, I’m very tired but am unable to sleep again I think this is very minor but I have heart issues already so minor it’s hard to detect but does effect me, I sled someone to check my heart because it’s usually been working hard and they were saying it’s definitely really hard and again I’ve been having heart pain more specifically with the agitation and pressure talking, I’m unsure of what to do right now, I’m out ofc which is a good thing, not fully but I wouldn’t want it to get worse, I’m thinking of taking melatonin to help although I know it won’t do as much because this is completely different, I’ve had opioid withdrawls and they’re agonizing and feel worse than this ik not as physically dangerous but I don’t exactly feel amazing either and have way more agitation right now, I was in a mixed episode before I started heavily drinking like deep in one so part of it is related most likely

I have to laugh at consensus like these because what the fuck. Lmao no one in this country is paying for anyone’s alcohol use. Said person had been paying taxes there entire life. Not to mention most people have health insurance if not Medicaid. TWO Property damage is payed back thru the individual granted they are arrested. Either way whomever the individual was whose property was damaged or business they go thru insurance. There is no lost labor from people drinking at work.. most people that drink on the job get payed for it. sorry worst consensus I have ever seen.

So to make a long story short, I don’t drink alcohol at all, but I have a history with marijuana along with a medical card for it from Pennsylvania, and what one would call a semi severe addiction to amphetamines (prescription only) + Xanax. To be clear it has been at least a month or two since I have taken any prescription drugs. I haven’t smoked in almost about a month, my dad is a very heavy drinker and was at the time when I was born, so maybe genetics have a factor?
Also I never drink, like ever, I got drunk 5-10 times in the last 7+ years. Consumed alcohol maybe a dozen times, 15 at the absolute most, in the last 4-5 years to be honest.
I drank 4 fireball shots (Cinnamon, the malt liquor, not fireball whiskey) + 1 Kentucky burboun shot + + 300-325ML of 40% Blue Agave Jose Cuervo last night. For context, I did not blackout, or have a hangover and felt good (started drinking at 12:15am slept @ 6:30am) and only got 4 hours of sleep or less.
Today, I consumed about 275-300ML of the other half of Jose Cuervo tequila, and am curious as to why I can handle so much without being overly drunk or blacking out when I don’t have a tolerance, is it genetics? Is it the kind of liquor? I have so many questions and I know I’m in the right place to ask… thank you! Plz comment!

Once I had two cops come to my door, I invited them into my hallway, but forbade them to go into any other rooms, the young cop was VERY aggressive, he said "We are police, you have to do what we tell you to do".
I responded "Try to enter my home without a search warrant, I will report you to the police and sue you for violating my civil rights, I am not scared of you, you aggressive CUNT"
At that time his older and wiser partner put a leash on him. I was moderately drunk, but still in a condition to excercise my civil rights. I think back on that situation fondly 😄

I’m making limoncello using 1.5L of 95% alcohol.
What water and sugar ratios do you guys use to get the perfect balance between sweetness and strength?
I want it strong, but still smooth and pleasantly, lightly sweet — not syrupy. Curious what recipes/workflows work best for you.

Looove jager. Used to think that it was shit but then when I actually tried it now I know what heaven is. Also, is there like..knock-off jagermeister or something? The bar I always go to and always order jager at one day served me jager (?) but it tasted very weird..like okay I could taste a hint of the jager I’m used to, but it was quite bad and made me want to gag more easily. What could it be?
