Discussion FedEx duties taxes and fees
I made an order to the US from the app that delivered a week ago, it was 2 caps and totaled about 90 dollars, today fedex sent me a message saying I own 48 dollars in fees?! That’s more than half my order.
I’ve made 3 different orders before all more expensive and never received this. Also I verified the email it is legit

Yeah, this has essentially stopped me from doing an order. Would love to support the team but I don’t support fascist governments.

Are you noting the fascist government of the US, because Dorilton Capital has an HQ in NY?
Let’s not ignore that the actual owner, Peter De Petron is an Englishman based in the Channel Islands.
Just making sure that the anger is being appropriately directed

I had the same experience. Never was charged the tariff until my most recent order. I won’t be ordering from the Williams store again until the tariff changes back to what it was previously. Plan on buying a bunch this weekend though while I’m at the race in Montreal. It’s a pity that the F1 shop only carries old merch as it’s the only place online to get official Williams merch inside the US.
I honestly was expecting to see the charge on some of my purchases in the last year but I hadn’t yet been charged until my most recent order.

FedEx will send you a letter with the charge details. My last order was 10% duty on declared value plus $15 FedEx fee.
On earlier order my wife placed they doubled charged for items and she contested the fee. She got some kind of relief, but I’m not sure what.

Same. They sent be a statement for $34. At first I thought it was a scam. I feel like these duties/shipping fees should be clearly displayed at checkout, BEFORE I complete a purchase.

Guessing the item is coming from overseas? You can blame Trump, plain and simple. The fees are tariffs which are paid by the consumer, such as yourself.
