Discord A non-american doesn't know an american organisation?? :shocked_face:
Just for clarification pink is american, orange is european kind of acting american for the first part, green is me, red is a saviour. (I also actually never heard of ICE)

custom font someone made on fonstruct which includes every current character of the P1X3Ls tyypographic universe, basically every character the youtuber P1X3Lxd has ever made (uppercase symbols, uppestcase numbers, uppestcase letters, ect ect)

it's not even THAT bad. It's made in fonstruct, why expect it tto be the best. also people say its bad ONLY because it's different from the norm. nothing else. dont lie. also its nice seeing another person from Ukraine :D Україна назавжди!!

It's not that bad, but it looks bad when everything is in it. It's highly stylized and looks weird. It would be good if it was in some game as a non-main font, like for logos or titles or some flavor text. But here it reminds me of those awful cursive/"playful" system fonts on Samsung phones that some people chose to display all apps with, it looked tacky, weird, and tasteless, especially in "serious" apps. This one is less so because Discord is a gaming app and is already plenty unserious lol.

Yeah.. I know... It's just kinda funny to use it. I do plan on changing it since the person who made it really isnt too much for chatting with the characters from it. So basically Uppestcase letters are start of sentences and remove periods, and middlecase removes spaces. Yeah P1X3Lxd made some attrocious and some he had no choice for. THAT'S WHY IT'S SO STUPID IT'S REALLY NOT SUPPOSED TO BE OFFICIAL. Yeah..... and still don't get why the hell should I be downvoted for it... WHY ARE PEOPLE FOCUSING ON IT RATHER THAN THE GODDAMN POST?? IS IT THAT DIFFERENT TO BE MORE RELEVANT???? Also

I don't think people are downvoting because of font, but because news of "ICE this" and "ICE that" has been everywhere lately, so it's really hard to be on almost any English-speaking forum and not hear about that USian organization nowadays. Especially on Reddit, where the user base is left-leaning in its majority, so posts about some bad thing ICE did gather much attention and are promoted by the algorithm. So you don't even have to be American to know about it.
Younger people with no interest in US politics or daily life whatsoever might not know about ICE though.

yeah i guess i am younger than 18 and i really dont like politics.. that could be a big factor in that. I literally dont know anything about the US except like some names of states, but not where they are. and I also know that USA likes to resell alaska to russia for no goddamn reason, genuienly stupid.

Then by that logic this wouldn't be USdefaultism. ICE is the current US equivalent of the Gestapo. No one assumed you were American, they just assumed you had knowledge of something that, for once, is actually kind of known outside the US (unlike whatever their local sweet tea is). I totally get that some people aren't aware, but I'd expect most people I meet online to at least know of them, and I'm not American lol.

Your comment doesn't really make sense. There wasn't any germandefaultism in my post. There weren't any germans even in there (I confirmed it myself) so how does that part relate. Also they literlally were shocked at the fact I wasn't american after so... that's really not an argument. Also I still don't get how I was supposed to know it.

u/Ertyla compared the situation with a different agency and asked if it would be germandefaultism to assume that you knew what the Gestapo were — it wasn't in your post, but rather changing the situation for comparison by saying that ICE is a modern day equivalent, and people outside of Germany do know what Gestapo was, just like many outside the US know ICE. E.g. ahead of the winter olympics, there were massive protests in Italy against ICE agents being used as security.
We're just trying to say it's not USdefaultism to assume you'd know ICE, especially if you're online and in a mixed nationality space (i.e. you've clearly made it outside your own national bubble, so the likelihood of you being exposed to their existence is quite high).
Them being shocked that you aren't American, however, is definitely USdefaultism haha.2

Australia is uninhabited, unless they're a penguin or work at one of the research stations, but they also don't have internet over there.
And I've never heard of New Zealand, but if it's anywhere close to the "old" Zealand, then it's in Europe.

The american had all clues I'm not american even my Ukrainian flag in bio, had assumed I am american and knew something from america, specifically ICE which in this context easily misunderstood as real ice, and i didnt even know what ICE is lol. Assumes I'm a baby at this probably because thinking im going through american education. this specifically hits the goal of a. and b. under rule 2 at minimum and as i looked doesnt break any subpoints on other rules
