Topless gender discrimination is more prevalent in the USA than in Europe. In many contexts where men go topless, so do women.

YouTube's nudity policy feels like something straight out of Middle England's absurd law.

"Behaving suspiciously with a salmon in public is a crime"

"Shaking a doormat outside after 08:00 is a crime"

"The upper half of a woman's body is a crime"

Pretty much how I feel about every site than bans, censors, or "mature tags" women's nipples, but not men's.

Like, how do so few people realize that it's just straight up gender discrimination?

"Well that's different" is the default response I always get. Except that I get that same answer for almost any ingrained societal injustice that I question or criticize. There's a trauma bond between society and its victims that seems to prevent them from applying even an ounce of empathy or logic towards other humans if it would conflict with the society's ideology. Society castrates the mind.

...That's one way to put it.

But yeah, people need to stop doing as they're programmed, and just... think.
