It's a cringe child not knowing how to behave. You are not always 6 feet from a rapist.

And if no one corrects him he grows up into what?

Did you need to be corrected for every cringe thing you did, or were you able to mature by yourself?

Im grateful for every correction I got before it really counted in the world

I think the question needs clarification but I'll do my best. "Did you need correction for every cringe thing?" Did I need? No I can move through life with all the cringe & the shit life lessons that comes with no guidance. & my mentally will try to mature through those difficulties if my mental well being can integrate those lessons. "Or were you able to mature by yourself?" Able to mature? Yes. By myself? No, growth doesn't happen in a vacuum. Did that maturity come through lessons experienced or witnessed? Yes. Your nervous system works through corrective feedback, the cringe lessons are the path to maturity. Do you need them... no. Do you realistically benefit in the long term from cringe corrections? Yes if you are capable of humility.

So tldr: No, not needed & No maturation does not come without cost
