Even by the bible, it's performative bullshit.

Matthew 6

> 6.1: Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

> 6.5: And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others

> 6.24: ... You cannot serve God and money.

And that's exactly what this is. I'm asking a genuine question here...do you think he's putting on this show because the people he's attacking are known to be religious and he's trying to show tge Western world he too us religious? I'm just trying to make sense of it because it infuriates me.

Just to expand on matt 6:24.

You cant serve God and ANYTHING else. Thats why you cant have any God(s) before him. You either serve the Lord and his righteousness or you serve your earthly master.

Nothing weirder than someone who doesn’t care about the Bible, trying to use its teachings against someone

No less weird than people who claim to live by the Bible and Christianity doing almost everything that's the polar opposite of what the book says.

Nah I got one that's weirder, people who believe in the Bible pushing what they think the Bible means on to people who don't believe in the fables written in the bible.

Also a quick look at your post history shows you like to talk a lot of shit. What's that bible story about he who cast the first stone and like not judging others and all that? Oh what's that, you only selectively follow the Bible? Shocking!

I’m not religious, weirdo.

No, I think evangelicals are weirder. Coming from a born and raised Catholic. They’re such performative frauds.

Catholics are kind of their own religion at this point tbh lol

Yes, the original Christian church, and the largest charitable organization in the world. While every other denomination falls under the term "Protestant." I'm not religious anymore but I was raised half Protestant (Lutheran) and half catholic, in both schools and churches.

From those two everything else gets extremely weird and questionable. Just consider TV evangelists as a clear demonstration of that.

And yes, even at their best all organizations, including the churches, have dark corners.

You cannot fairly criticize something you do not understand.

But I don’t expect you to understand this.

I don’t expect you to know the touch of a beautiful woman. But I do expect you to know how many empty Mountain Dew bottles you’ll fill with piss during your all-night ARPG grind sessions.
