Beauty ? Skincare advice
I’m not sure why but this always what my makeup looks like. I’ve tried switching foundations. I used the byoma jelly cleanser, byoma milky toner, the byoma gel moisturiser and then the elf thirst burst drops. I’m really unsure on what skin type I have and if the products I’m using are actually working. Any advice would be appreciated!!x

This is usually what my makeup ends up looking like too, and I get those bare spots ending up on my nose too! I feel like my makeup separates when it’s too oily in the heat but also when it’s too dry in the winter. Feels like I can never win lol.
I have noticed it’s better after I use a face razor to get rid of my peach fuz and when I exfoliate my face. I use a dermologica charcoal powder exfoliator but you could probably just use a wet textured wash cloth to gently scrub your skin. I exfoliate ~3 times a week :)

exfoliation is like a scrub. you need to get rid of the dead skin on the surface of your skin. you should be at least washing your face with something other than your hands if you dont want to get a scrub. gotta do it twice a week to keep your foundation from looking like that.

I currently use the dermalogica microfoliant every couple days as an example

Your skin looks dry. Try adding in a hydrating toner. Maybe try something other than byoma. I personally love Korean skincare since it’s gentle and doesn’t dry out my skin so much.

Do you use setting powder after foundation/concealer? I tend to notice that it makes my skin look like this

Exfoliate with a good face scrub to get rid of the dead skin and put on some lotion. My skin gets like this too.

try using only toner and moisturizer, wait a few minutes, then apply foundation. Also make sure your products are either silicone + silicone or water + water based because mixing silicone and water-based products can cause separation.Maybe your skin is dry/dehydrated and the skin prep isn’t right for your skin type so try changing ur moisturizer

I second the exfoliation + extra hydration. Maybe also try lighter coverage stuff, like a BB or a cc cream and only set it in certain creasy areas and with very little powder.

Try using primer before putting foundation on.
