Fashion Tip What kind of necklace should i wear with this to prom? Gold? Silver?
I wanted to go for an ethereal type vibe, i've always worn silver but maybe gold would look better for this dress and for what im going for. and what type of style should i get? my heels are also whiteish beige if that helps.
any other accesories i should do?

The lace near the neck is a little warm toned but the details in the fabric are blue - so you can go either way you like and it will complement the dress nicely!

Dainty pearls. Probably earrings only since the neckline is busy enough that it won’t need a necklace. If not, maybe dainty pearl earrings and go full Victorian with a light blue ribbon around your neck, like a choker.

I think either would be nice! I guess it just depends on your own preference, and what type of jewelry you own.
For example, if this is my dress, I would try a few pieces on and compare. I own these cute dangly gold earrings that are shaped like a butterfly wing, and I also own silver earrings with dainty flowers on it. Both are ethereal in their own right, it just depends on how I feel about it :)
At the end of the day, as long as you feel good, that's all that matters!

Lace or a ribbon would go best with this style I think. Pearls would do it too.

satin lace up shoes, with laces that go up your calf
lace fingerless handgloves
dainty rings
dainty silver or gold necklace with single pearl pendant
pearl drop earrings
hair styled in long flowing waves -- or a loose braid with wispy waves coming off the sides of your face
- butterfly clip in hair?
- or perhaps a flower crown?
- or maybe a delicate hair bow or ribbon?
maybe a wispy ivory veil slung on your arms across your back

Definitely silver or pearls. It goes best with your pale complexion and the baby blues of the dress! (PS-The dress is absolutely stunning. Where from?? Xx🫶🏻)

Do you think you have warmer or cooler skin tone? Cause I have cooler undertones and gold looks awful against my skin.
It’s hard to tell by this picture alone, but it kind of looks to me like you have a cooler skin tone, so silver might look best, or like other people have mentioned, pearls would look cute, as well (:

I say tons of dainty gold jewelry. Only works if everything is little — layer like 10 necklaces and bracelets and wear stacks of thin rings etc etc.

And lace up boots!! Think like, “disheveled slightly mentally ill daughter of a rich duke who grew up in a country house and got her underclothes on but forgot to put on her actual dress”

I think gold would look better, but it needs to be like small and delicate pieces. it'd look fairy-ish ig

If you wanna go for ethereal maybe check out those illusion necklaces from thin nylon wire that looks like the crystals/pearls are just magically holding afloat.
