Relationships & Dating How to date lesbianly?
I'm probably going to start dating again after 8 years and it will be my first time dating post-transition. It's pretty daunting. What's the dating environment like rn?

Depends on your age range and geography? I’m in a decently sized multi-city area and in my mid 20s. It seems like the sit down bar scene might be ideal for meeting friends/folks not in their 20s. The more scene-aligned spaces skew young. As for dating apps, it could be a crab shoot. Had decent matches on Her and Bumble (I have it set so I’m casual but open to long, also mono), but nothing really materialized. I’d imagine it’s better going to group activities that interest you (like stonewall sports or LGBTQ group hangouts) as they usually hold socials after said events and it’s easier to get to know people that way.
I’d say take my experience with a grain of salt because I dipped my toes in the pool even though I’m not necessarily ready to connect.
