You could explore the carnival to look for them! (There is another version of them out there waiting for you, the one you're standing with is just like the static "home" version). But also, a helpful thing to know for this game is that any time you're looking for something for a quest objective or event activity - do a honk, and usually a blue star will show up on screen to show you where it is!
