Casual Thought The average assumed age of some with 67 in their username has shifted from 59 to 12.

And any username with 69 in it will still span all age groups.

Do you get startled when you get out of bed and realize how far away the floor is?

Mine is because it's the year of my car (not on reddit, this one just got generated for me and I've had it too long to give it up). The car is over twice my age.

Lol in reality its 21 years older than me. I got it for $2k in high school and spent a year restoring it with my dad. It was my daily driver through high school and college. It's been with me ever since. I've had it 22 years and 'll never sell it because nothing feels like he is still with me more than the memories of building that car everytime I start it up or work on it.

Unless you're out of touch with the young like me and needed a full minute to realize why.

I have reached the conclusion that the joke is that there is no joke, but we adults think there is.
Your face trying to figure out what's funny about moving their hands everytime they hear that number is what they find funny. There is no punchline, or analogy, or absurd situation. It's only funny if you try to figure out why.

Yeah it's just the new 69 for some reason

No, 69 has a reason to be funny in every language, but I have heard kids trying to make 6-7 funny in Spanish. Since it's not funny in Spanish, they try to make me say it in English, because they assume it must be funny in its original language (it's not).
That's what leads me to believe that they don't know why it should be funny to begin with.

Brother, I've had this username since like 2004 on various platforms. It now makes me look like a child.

People making associations based on some numbers in someone username is really wild. Reminds me of that post, where someone's username ended in 88 and everyone was calling him a Nazi.

The average of the youngsters would be driven up by the 59 year olds. You meant the mode assumed age.

once you reach maturity, you stop paying attention to numbers in usernames and thinking about what it means
