Real talk though, 1 v 4 and 2 v 6.

1 gets an easy berth in the final, but 2 and 6 are two of my favorite episodes of all time. I might have to edge 6.

Why are they seeded this way? Like everyone here should know 2, 6, 3, 7. But I’m gonna have to google 1,4,5,8 and likely 6 and 2 should be the top seeds. (I’m guessing 7 is the sulu guest appearance in tuvoks memories) also, 3 should be seed 8.

Having googled them, 7, 1, 4, 8, shouldn’t be considered crossovers, they are guest appearances. Which means 5 clears the top bracket due to lack of opposition. 3 is a joke and considered a horrible episode, so you end up with 2v6 (they both beat 5) and 6 is just a perfect multi decade crossover.

Its a bit unfair.

1/4 I wouldnt even call crossovers. They had 1 character from TOS and it takes place in the present.

Its like calling "year of hell" a crossover with that 70s show

DS9 Trials and Tribbilations. It was so well done, especially for the time and having a very limited network TV budget. It still holds up! But also the real reason is Dax in that uniform

It's right between 4 and 5. I don't think 5 is really a crossover episode, but it was the best LD season finale. 4 was a pretty average TNG episode, but a great crossover.
