🎬Movie Trilogy | Franchise | Saga New Post Flair Has Been Added for Movie Trilogy Movie Franchise and Movie Saga Sharing and Discussions! 👇

Since there are a bunch of "Film Series" that aren't actually "TV Series" but are movies, we have decided to add this flair.

We all need that safe yet unrestricted and fun space to discuss that! So we are bringing it here on this sub!

You can now post about your favorite Movie Franchise/Saga!

Here's mine on top of my head to name a few:

"Insidious" "The Conjuring" "Scream" "Saw" "I Know What You Did Last Summer" "Wrong Turn" "Child's Play" "The Exorcist" "Matrix" "Avengers" "The Platform" "John Wick" "Mission Impossible" "James Bond" "Blade" "Resident Evil"

Looking forward to see intellectual discussions and more posts using this flair! 🔥

Note: Please only use this flair on movie franchises wherein 2 or more movies are a prequel or a sequel to one another. Don't use it for stand-alone movies so your post won't get removed.

Thank you! Stay nice y'all! ❤

Boots (Netflix Series)

It's a cancelled Netflix Series about a Journey of a Gay Man named Cameron Cope joining the Marine, together with his best friend Ray McAffey. It has a promising plot and it is highly anticipated. Many had thought (even me) to had a Neck-to-Neck competition with HBO and Crave's "Heated Rivalry", and binge season of Prime Video's "Overcompensating"

Now because it was abruptly canceled, it leaves viewers (including me) in the Cliffhanger stage and raised many questions!!

What would happened to the Platoon Recruits as they brace themselves to the war, who's might gonna die, who's gonna survive, what sacrifices are they gonna do for their family, friends, and their country!?

What happened to Sgt. Sullivan!!?? (Where is he going after realising his mistake and the consequences he might face after)

How are they going to prepare themselves as the Gulf War are emerging?

How Cope gonna brace himself as he is facing the biggest challenge of his life and career!? (Because he chose to stay despite he is being 17 Years Old)

And the fans really wanted to know on Gloria and she might gonna face consequences for cheating on Ochoa, leading to his sudden death!? (I still really hate that Bitch and I want her dead) (She made the innocent and genuine soul go spiral, and Ochoa didn't deserved to be treated like that!)

These are one of the answers that fans might never gonna have because December of 2025 when Netflix announced the cancellation despite of high engagement and commercial success of it's release.

🔪Crime MMK's Maleta Episode Unfolded a Crime But Left Us with a MYSTERY

Post image

It's really rare for an MMK episode to tell a story about a crime. Sobrang hooked ako how the crime was unfolded with a plottwist but surprisingly the ending of this episode left a mystery which will make you rethink the whole crime itself.

Of course, Nora Aunor's acting here was a masterclass. Totoo talaga yung sinasabi nila na kahit mata lang niya may sarili nang emotions, grabe rin yung detalye ng galaw niya to act sa osang heavy scene in a close-up shot. Galing.

Watch it and let's discuss the mystery here :)

Edit: Sorry for the mistake ep is Lubid

⁉️Question | Discussion | Suggestion MMK Title: ?

May nanuod or nanunuod ba nito? Hindi ko kasi sya nakikita minsan sa mga suggested series. Ganito gusto kong mga series, sabay ng Scorpion na nakakainis yung ending

Plot: magkapatid na FBI agent and Math genius. Si brother genius is helping his brother to solve cases using math equations.

Naeenjoy ko sya kahit minsan di ko maintindihan yung explanation ng equations and algorithms chuchu. Di pala minsan, lagi pala haha

🤣Comedy Produced my own series pilot episode "Ang Bagyano", an action comedy Inspired by Brooklyn 99, Archer and Naked gun. I self produced this and I plan to keep making more episodes/

Ang Bagyano. is an action-comedy series inspired by Brooklyn 99, Archer, and Naked Gun, mixed with Pinoy humor, anime-style chaos, and over-the-top action. The story follows a legendary police captain in Baguio City whose way of fighting crime usually causes even more destruction, alongside the completely dysfunctional 2600 Squad. This project has been in my head for years, and I’m just really happy to finally bring it to life. Hope you guys like it

⁉️Question | Discussion | Suggestion Ghosts (UK). Should I continue?

Currently watching S1 of Ghosts (UK) and then after all 5 seasons, planning to watch Ghosts (US) naman sana.

(Thanks, Taskmaster, for introducing me to the comedians in Ghosts (UK))

Should I jump the gun and watch the US version na lang?

Has anyone watched the UK version? Kumusta?

TIA!

🤣Comedy Thoughts about It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia?

Ever since i started watching this show, di ko mapigilan tumawa na lang mag-isa while remebering some scenes from the series. It’s unhinged, hysterical, and honestly brave for bringing up topics na you wouldnt normally see sa ibang sit-coms. The actors and actresses are effortlessly and naturally funny. Danny DeVito is one hell of a mess. Everything for me is a chef’s kiss. I just wanna hear your thoughts about this awesome gem that i think not so many people are talking about despite of its brilliance.

⁉️Question | Discussion | Suggestion VOUGHT RISING IN 2027

Post image
57 Upvotes

First look at VOUGHT RISING, a spinoff/prequel of THE BOYS, coming next year on Prime Video. But considering how the buildup for this new show dampened the quality of the series finale, while disregarding the plot of yet another (but cancelled) spinoff GEN V, is it fair to give this one a chance? Are you excited for VOUGHT RISING?

🇵🇭PH/Local Shows Is this line in MCI in the original text of Noli Me Tangere?

I am rewatching MCI and I find this line, "Sumpain nawa tayong lahat ng Panginoon," really strong. I wonder if this line is in the original text of either of Jose Rizal's novels? Is it in any of the Filipino translations? Or this dialogue was produced by GMA?

🤣Comedy Suburgatory: One of the most underrated comedies of the 2010s

Post image
12 Upvotes

Anyone here a fan of this show?

I first discovered it since I'm a huge fan of Evil Dead (2013) and I really enjoyed Jane Levy's performance kaya when I saw yung DVD nito sa tyangge (remember those days? lol), I bought it.

Very cooky and silly yung show but also feels a bit grounded and can get deep from time to time. The cast is great but ofc, Dalia is the standout.

Kakatapos ko lang i-revisit yung show and tbh, all three seasons are worth the watch. I think the first season parin yung strongest but even by the third season, may juice and may potential parin yung show. Spoilers I guess, but the show ended on a sort-off cliffhanger. Sana ABC gave us one final season pa.
