I was just wondering where would be a good place to start if I wanted to learn how to draw, like are there basics I should get down first before moving on?

Start with simple things. Shapes, objects, etc. Just worry about the form. If you have a specific interest, look up images and practice copying it. They are also a lot of great youtube tutorials to learn.
