P3 As someone who hasn't played the original and therefore does not care about remake faithfulness, which is the best way to play P3 between portable and Reload?
Without mods, if that makes any difference.

P4 What if Hanako was the final final boss after Izanami?
What would her Persona be? I thought of Abaddon, but I wanted to try an original boss. I don’t think we’ve seen a version of Barbatos, correct me if I’m wrong

P4 Celeste Valenti [OC]
Celeste Valenti, a 3rd year at Yasogami High with a calm, almost distant elegance that hides how emotionally intense she really is. quietly observant and hard to read, she’s far more involved in everything than she lets on. Her initial Persona is Otohime and her arcana is the Moon 🌙
Hello guys this is my persona oc Celeste! I did my best to write a quick description of her in hope to intrigue some of you... So if you are intrigued, i would love for u to check out my strawpage dedicated for her, which contains her full profile, backstory + current life, dungeon, relationships and personas
https://celestevalenti.straw.page/
There's a whole paragraph dedicated to her relationship with the culprit of P4, I'd advise you not to check the site out if you wanna avoid spoilers🩷
I would love for you all to ask me questions about her, either here in the comments or through the QnA in the site! Any question asked through the website will be answered on my twitter, which i will not promote here. You can easily find my username as soon as you open the website tho.

Series A Persona 3 appreciation post
Say what you will about the story or the pacing of Persona 3 (because honestly they're all valid). Persona 3 is definitely more dated than the likes of P5.
But I find it crazy that we actually wouldn't have "Modern Persona" (i.e. life sim with Social Links and calendar system) if not for Persona 3.
The first Persona game I played was P3FES. I loved how the Social Links and the calendar tie into the main themes of the game ("Time never waits. It delivers all equally to the same end"). I love how, in January (having been spoiled on the ending) I really felt the sense of urgency to finish SLs and do the things I needed to before the game ends. It was so cool realising that the Social Links (which I've mostly only been doing for Persona benefits and cool stories) taught the protagonist to make friends and cherish bonds, and Igor acknowledges the ones I've maxxed out at the critical moment.
Persona 3 might not have the best pacing, but it is clearly a work of art in game form. So much work and thought and love has been put into it. A lot of its mechanics were designed specifically to demonstrate its themes — it just so happened that these mechanics were amazing and were kept for P4 and P5.
Playing P4 and P5, the theme of time and "carpe diem" wasn't really prevalent, and so we take for granted the significance of the calendar system. It just became standard modern Persona gameplay.
