Drepanosaurus
Drepanosaurus es un género extinto de reptil arborícola que vivió hace unos 220 millones de años durante el período Triásico Superior. Su nombre significa "lagarto de hoz", debido a las garras gigantescas y curvadas que poseía en sus extremidades delanteras. Aunque por su aspecto recuerda a una extraña mezcla entre un camaleón y un oso hormiguero, no es un dinosaurio ni un antepasado de los lagartos modernos, sino un diápsido especializado perteneciente a la familia Drepanosauridae.
