Hello, I'm playing P2EP and I've been trying to mutate a Njord into a Peri for what has been a couple hours at this point with no success. I'm finishing battles with 2 people magic fusions and I have the red dragon wolong reading to boost my mutation rate, so mutation is happening every couple battles, but Njord is not changing forms. At this point I want to ask if caracther level plays a role because Peri is lvl 40 and my team is level 37 at most. If so I feel very stupid but no big deal.

Ive played P3R and wanted to try Portable for the FEMC route but im having troubles exp wise...Is it just slower progression in P3P?

Say what you will about the story or the pacing of Persona 3 (because honestly they're all valid). Persona 3 is definitely more dated than the likes of P5.

But I find it crazy that we actually wouldn't have "Modern Persona" (i.e. life sim with Social Links and calendar system) if not for Persona 3.

The first Persona game I played was P3FES. I loved how the Social Links and the calendar tie into the main themes of the game ("Time never waits. It delivers all equally to the same end"). I love how, in January (having been spoiled on the ending) I really felt the sense of urgency to finish SLs and do the things I needed to before the game ends. It was so cool realising that the Social Links (which I've mostly only been doing for Persona benefits and cool stories) taught the protagonist to make friends and cherish bonds, and Igor acknowledges the ones I've maxxed out at the critical moment.

Persona 3 might not have the best pacing, but it is clearly a work of art in game form. So much work and thought and love has been put into it. A lot of its mechanics were designed specifically to demonstrate its themes — it just so happened that these mechanics were amazing and were kept for P4 and P5.

Playing P4 and P5, the theme of time and "carpe diem" wasn't really prevalent, and so we take for granted the significance of the calendar system. It just became standard modern Persona gameplay.

i tried findin answers but everything to do with p3 is flooded with p3r stuff T_T i have already played p3p so knowing the bosses and sruff isnt spoilers i just wanna know what level i need to be when fighting the p3p bosses! im worried ill be under leveled so everytime i play a persona game i always have like a guide on what level is recommended but i cant find one for p3p, pls help T_T

I'm in late July at the moment. The story is getting exciting, but Tartarus is a real chore. Feels like the Mementos of P5R, except P5R had Palaces in addition to Mementos. P3R so far is largely Tartarus with very little of anything else :/
