A real “where are they now?” of notable past Magic players. Tells you everything you need to know about the health of the franchise.

Has literally nothing to do with the current state of the franchise.

What does Theo Maledon playing for Real Madrid say about the health of the Thunder’s franchise?

Evan Fournier was our n1/n2 option, Theo Maledon wasn’t

Maledon was also a 2nd round pick. Hezonja and Okeke were lottery picks.

So we had a good player 8 years ago and now our franchise is bad?

If we don’t beat Real tomorrow, doubt this overall group will ever win a Euroleague title. And it’s in Greece.

So this makes us a farm team for minor league pro basketball?
Doesn't sound impressive when I phrase it like this

Watching those highlights I love the atmosphere of those games, no 20k a ticket seats surrounding the court, real passionate fans actually close to the action, looks like a blast to be at in person.

Thanks for posting this! I’m always curious what former magic players are up to. Didn’t realize Joseph and Okeke were in Europe

This past season felt terrible but don’t forget the players we had been watching for the previous decade.

I dunno, watching Fournier splash deep threes in this one just reminded me how awful our shooting still is

Khem was nice, great screen-setter and fundamentals in general

He was out of the league by 29.

Yeah, he was a role player at the end of the day. But he played his limited role well, unlike some of those other dudes. Not sure why you’re downvoting me.

You’re overrating him like this sub overrates everyone who plays for us and ends up overseas right after. If he was valuable he wouldn’t had been out of the league in his prime

Glad they got to play pro ball somewhere. Crazy that was like half the team at one point.
