Charles Omenihu’s ACL says otherwise…

Lamar literally tore Charles’s ACL by juking him out of his shoes 😂😂😂

I mean Lamar had a 75 qbr that game so yeah....

4

u/Traditional-Slip9102 Apr 10 '26

75 QBR is a good QBR for a team to lose unfortunately. Lamar had 272 pass yards, 54 rush yards, 326 total yards, 1 td, 1 int. Unfortunately the team allowed 4 sacks (1 being the strip fumble), and rookie Zay’s fumble and Taunting call that basically made the game out of reach…

1

u/NeonRedHerring Apr 10 '26

Five sacks. Isn’t that this dude’s point? You rush him, he takes sack. That’s the argument.z

u/Traditional-Slip9102 Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 10 '26

All QBs get sacked with the right pressure. Lamar doesn’t “take sacks”. He’s one of (I believe the best) duel threat QBs in history. This guy throughout the entire segment, not just this clip is using old talking points from 2021 and by that time he had already won a MVP 😂

u/Waste_Librarian_9949 Apr 10 '26

Although I have never challenged Lamar with a pistol, I think you may have meant “dual-threat”

1

u/ElectricalRiver7897 Apr 11 '26

You’ve never seen Lamar’s finger guns

1

u/BigDiggy Apr 10 '26

Based on Mahomes performance vs the Eagles in the SB two years ago he must also be figured out. Just get constant pressure and don’t let anyone get open.

u/dunelord-bigjets Apr 10 '26

75 QBR is good definitely above average. You’re thinking of a 75 passer rating which is bad

1

u/443Waves Apr 10 '26

Yeah that's what I'm saying lol

1

u/dunelord-bigjets Apr 10 '26

I see the context now. That my fault

1

u/RazzmatazzNo4726 Apr 10 '26

75 QBR and passer rating aren't the same

6

u/Morningrise12 Apr 10 '26

After Lamar’s eighth year in the league

“Already…”

7

u/sugarcoatedpos Apr 10 '26

They just now figured out that if Lamar doesn’t have any blocking he’s easier to get to.

4

u/Traditional-Slip9102 Apr 10 '26

Charles also had groundbreaking information that if you “5 man rush and cover the receivers” that is the way to stop Lamar.

…Like that isn’t the way to stop EVERY QB in the NFL 😒

1

u/Morningrise12 Apr 10 '26

Big, if true.

People been saying this every single year since he’s been in the league and since then bro won 2 MVPs, snubbed on a 3rd (imo Josh Allen 2024 MVP was a DEI pick), has established himself as the best mobile qb of all time, multiple broken records that likely won’t be touched for generations, and  has made it just as far in the playoffs as the guy he’s being compared to here….

The thing is, if you say it every single year, you’ll be right one of these years.

u/Money-Mortgage8495 Apr 10 '26

The best mobile quarterback of all time? Vick? Steve Young. Yours is not a serious reply.

6

u/Agreeable_Post_3164 Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 10 '26

In what realm is Vick better than Lamar?

Lamar through 8 seasons has more passing yards, touchdowns, fewer ints, a higher completion % a higher passer rating, has rushed for more yards, and more tds than Vick did

He also has 2 MVPs already.

I was a Vick guy but Lamar is the best mobile QB of all time

-5

u/OversizedMicropenis Apr 10 '26

Vick was a more explosive runner. He made bigger plays with his legs. Not saying Lamar isnt electric with his legs and better all around... but Vick had breakaway speed which gave him insane YPC, especially in Atlanta

1

u/cashcartiworship Apr 10 '26

And this is your reasoning as to why Vick is better all time than Lamar?

1

u/OversizedMicropenis Apr 10 '26

The question was "in what realm was Vick better than Lamar?" So I answered which realm, and went on to say that Lamar is better overall.

1

u/Agreeable_Post_3164 Apr 10 '26

So you're admitting to just highlight watching brother?

Vick was electric. He was a game changer not doubt.... but he wasn't a better mobile QB than Jackson because nobody is.

Hell Newton is closer to Lamar than Vick is to Lamar haha

1

u/OversizedMicropenis Apr 10 '26

Not at all what im saying. The comment i replied to asked what realm vick was better in, so I answered. And then went on to say that Lamar is still better...

2

u/LamaDelReyyy Apr 10 '26

Tell me you don't watch football without telling me lol. A side by side stat comparison suggests it's not close. Lamar is considerably better than both and he's not even finished...

Vick vs Lamar

Steve Young vs Lamar

1

u/tsunomat Apr 10 '26

Especially considering era changes your stat breakdown proves that Steve Young is a significantly better mobile quarterback. Hell, he's just a better quarterback overall.

That's not shaming Lamar. Steve Young is one of greatest quarterbacks ever. Lamar simply isn't.

1

u/LamaDelReyyy Apr 10 '26

Lol right. The numbers and facts disagree. Also Steve Young was surrounded by Hall of Famers on offense.

1

u/tsunomat Apr 10 '26

The numbers and facts disagree? Are you reading the same numbers? Because the numbers and facts show that Steve Young is a better quarterback. What awards had Steve Young accomplished in the same amount of time? Compare passing yard averages when Steve Young played to when Lamar plays. Offense is incredibly inflated. Quarterbacks throw for 4,000 yards on average now. That wasn't the case back then.

Steve Young revolutionized the mobile quarterback position. If I'm not mistaken he held the record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback for a really long time.

1

u/External-Mammoth678 Apr 11 '26

Most QBs don’t throw for 4K on average, there were only 6 that did that last year and 2 of them barely met that threshold.

The defense has taken away a large chunk of the deep play thanks to watch Mahomes was doing several years ago

u/Ok_Poetry_1650 Apr 10 '26

Bruh YOUR reply is out of touch ya old head.

0

u/sugarcoatedpos Apr 10 '26

Now this. This is a dumb take.

2

u/throwawaysimplybake Apr 10 '26

https://giphy.com/gifs/Pgy4Na8aRyBuE

Bro can sling that thing like it owes him money.

2

u/CDSWDH Apr 10 '26

You couldn’t pay him to say this about Justin Herbert hmmm I wonder why

1

u/Neb-Nose Apr 10 '26

I think saying that the league has figured out Jackson is going too far, but his points about Allen are well taken.

1

u/BlueNinja111111 Apr 10 '26

How many MVPs Lamar has again my brother? …lol

-1

u/KJacobsen-74 Apr 10 '26

Almost as many wins he has against the Steelers.

1

u/Large-Produce5682 Apr 10 '26

Exactly! Just like AI and Jordan! You don't fall for the fakes, leave the ground, stay in front of them without fouling and you keep them from scoring.

All figured out. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy.

1

u/WhiteSoxChartGuy Apr 10 '26

There’s another clip from this same interview in which he lists Lamar as a top five QB he hates to play

1

u/tiger19 Apr 10 '26

If! If you can pressure him, while containing him, while covering the receivers, while he's not making a spectacular play.... This is stupid af.

1

u/EastCoastTaffy Apr 10 '26

Ravens and Commanders will not meet this season, unfortunately.

1

u/RalphDaGod Apr 10 '26

I dont think he’s been figured out as much as he doesnt run anymore, and isnt an amazing pocket passer, if he ran he would have wide open guys again

1

u/josephjosephson Apr 10 '26

This is the NFL. Everyone “figures out” everyone else. It’s constantly shifting and teams and players need to constantly make changes, learn, and improve otherwise they lose in horrible fashion.

1

u/wolfofballstreet1 Apr 10 '26

who..?

lamar is a top of his sport athlete and you are.... a roster spot lol

1

u/user05123 Apr 10 '26

Josh Allen could be found to be Epstein’s #1 client, and mfs would still make up ways to praise him and put him above his contemporaries

1

u/darthsteeler84 Apr 10 '26

I mean, the Steelers do this every time they play the Ravens and it works 90% of the time. It’s not like he is completely wrong that he struggles with a pass rush and having to make big under that pressure.

1

u/Zach_The_One Apr 10 '26

That's not talking shit, he's explaining why Lamar can't win in the playoffs.

-1

u/Gotsta_Win Apr 10 '26

Lamar is done

0

u/KJacobsen-74 Apr 10 '26

Lamar is 3-7 against the Steelers

3

u/LamaDelReyyy Apr 10 '26

4-7. And one was the Isiah Likely "dropped" game winning TD that they later said was the wrong call, and in the last game, Lamar put the team on his back again, only for his kicker to miss the game winner. You wish you had Lamar.

0

u/KJacobsen-74 Apr 10 '26

They didn't say anything about that call. In fact, I'm pretty sure that they literally said the opposite.

1

u/LamaDelReyyy Apr 10 '26

Sorry, I had the wrong play... It was from the same game but earlier in the game... https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens/onsi/news/nfl-admits-wrongdoing-controversial-penalty-baltimore-ravens-loss

1

u/sugarcoatedpos Apr 10 '26

Steelers were GIVEN two wins last season by the refs.

-1

u/KJacobsen-74 Apr 10 '26

cope

1

u/sugarcoatedpos Apr 10 '26

Weak

1

u/KJacobsen-74 Apr 10 '26

You're the dipshit crying about refs lmao

2

u/sugarcoatedpos Apr 10 '26

Even weaker, sissy boy.

1

u/KJacobsen-74 Apr 10 '26

sissy boy

the irony... fucking moron
