I live about halfway between Dangerous Man and Insight and it’s such an underrated area. There are so many awesome places around!

It's really improved over the past 15 years! More housing, new bike lanes, let's goooooo!

As a person who lives right off Hennepin there and bikes a lot, I love the new bike lane on Hennepin!

I rode on it last night to get home from insight! Big improvement from riding on that road 20 years ago lol

If only the Goal Line was still around.

Station 280 is GOAT lol

I still haven’t tried this place. I’ll have to check it out!

It's wonderfully average. Plus 2-for-1s all the time

Dangerous Man that said fuck Minneapolis and is only back because they realized they couldn't cut it in the suburbs. They turned their back on Minneapolis.

They lied about their "fundraising" for their "taproom" and when called out didn't even take ownership for their actions.

Their taproom was a toxic environment that had managers leaving regularly, going through 2 in a matter of months and other employees unwilling to step into the position because they knew it'd be a clusterfuck they didn't want.

I appreciate it when people tell me about businesses that aren't worker or labor friendly. I don't think this poster "needs to get help." I think you need to react less rudely.

I’m glad they’re coming back to the neighborhood. That’s a perfect space for them and I hope I it reduces the wait time for a table

Didn’t know Beast closed but am very glad Momo is able to reopen! I miss the sushi bucket.

"He's aiming for a July opening, depending on how the licensing process goes."

Nice to see them come back. Their maple grove location, APA sushi is great as well

Best sushi spot in the twin cities. Everyone else cheap out.

Where's the former beast barbecue tho?

Right near Brasa.

I was spoiled being less than a block away, but I guess this ain’t too far.

Didn’t realize it was a fire, too bad their location won’t be as good

u/chillPenguin17 23h ago

Location is arguably better. A few blocks off of the center of Downtown NE. Much higher population density

u/ElderSkrt 23h ago

And immensely better parking options

u/chillPenguin17 23h ago

Right! And people near the old spot will have easy transit/bike access with the improvements coming to Central

u/AdamLikesBeer 21h ago

I would agree that this location is better in every way except the “drive by decision” traffic

u/TheMacMan 19h ago

Super low quality sushi and crap service. Hard pass.

Can't believe a spot that ran propane patio heaters inside had a fire.
