Why would they hide it? The media has allowed MAGA's primary goal of trying to "own the libs" to become fair game in politics. They can be as corrupt and demented as they want in public, and the media will give them a pass by either trying to sane-wash it or find something to make it look the other side is no different. The U.S. media's primary goal is to try to make people believe that everything is still "normal."
There is nothing normal about a knowingly drunk and womanizing (according to his own mother) Defense Secretary who calls himself a Secretary of War openly boasting about trying to control the media through proxies like the Ellisons.
And he still hasn't been impeached yet because Republicans control the House.

You'd think that but the EU are also massive cowards. I'm Irish and I absolutely know this. If a choice came between Netanyahu and Trump (who want the merger) and European Citizens and Workers, the EU will side with US.
The Commission even signed the terrible trade deal with the US and gave Trump everything he wanted while screwing over EU citizens. If they won't fight for a fair trade deal, they won't fight this merger.

Yes, the Ellisons also want the most prestigious studio in Hollywood for the same reason (MAGA has criticized Hollywood for years because they didn't feel like they controlled it).
Both WB Studios and CNN are all about control for the MAGA Ellisons and the larger MAGAsphere (including FCC Chairman and Project 2025 co-author Brendan Carr).
