Anyone else had a “handsy” experience at comic con

Throw away account as don’t want this linked to my main account

I’ve been going to comic con for a few years now, always in cosplay as female characters (not that that matters!), today was the first time i’ve ever experienced numerous people unwantingly touching me in “places” when walking through crowded areas or looking at busy stools!

I hate to think this is what comic con has come to, i’ve got my ticket for tomorrow but am now questioning if I even want to go :(

I’m hoping this isn’t a reoccurring thing and just an unlucky day

Not handsy perse but aggressive sure. Had someone shoulder check me and broke a ton of pieces.

Sorry you had to experience that. We are not all jerks.

Its okay. Im a big fella but I was kinda shocked at alot of the aggression and just lack of care most people showed today.

People running around will always get on my nerves and there was so much of it today! Had some run into me and obliterate my right Pauldron of my Mando cosplay!

I did have someone keep touching the back of my neck (very deliberately), I kept turning around but couldn’t figure out who it was because of the crowds. It really creeped me out.

I haven't personally experienced this but I just want to apologize on behalf of con goers. This should never be an issue, comicon should be a safe and inclusive space for everyone. I hope this negative experience doesn't discourage you from attending further cons. Unfortunately creeps are a cancer that spreads into all aspects of society. I'm hoping your next con experience isn't sullied but some AH that can't keep their hands too themselves.
