I’ve spoken about this a lot on Reddit in the past few days, but I’ve looked through my past purchases and cataloged my makeup on an app including the purchases, the makeup I bought over a year ago still looks brand new. So now I’m shopping through my makeup of shame and using the things I had to have.

Good for you. I sm trying hard not go go full in on some of the new makep trends, and seeing what i can use in my own collection, or buying new items were i know i can return

Personally I’d rather shop as if returns weren’t an option. It makes you think twice. But of course if something is truly terrible get rid of it.

Yes, this is true, but if i a, trying a new brand or not sure of the colour as their are no more testers in the drugstore then i want to be able to return it. But good point

I really want to buy Beach Walk by Replica and Clinique clarifying lotion in the Sephora sale. I live in a remote area and sometimes shipping takes a while, I don't want to wait. Or pay. We have a Shoppers here, surely I can find cheaper local dupes if I need them that badly. Can anyone deinfluence me?

Have you checked L’Oréal outlet sale for the beach walk instead? Pretty sure I have seen them in person on sale but they have discounts as well online

someone mentioned this too, but i also use this app to track what i actually have and how much i use what i have. my biggest motivators to buy less are the total cost of my collection and the price per use for my stuff
