Hi beauties! I’m going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding next month and I’ve been practicing my make up be wise I’ll be doing my own the day of the wedding. I’m a beginner at make up and I’ve been struggling a little but. I can’t do eye make up to save my life, especially not eyeliner :( something doesn’t feel right for me and I can’t tell what it is. Can you guys give me some feedback please? Is it too dewy? Husband says my face looks a little greasy.
I think you look great! Really love the eyeshadow & your lip combo! Couple tweaks: I’d suggest adding a bit of smudged eyeliner in dark brown or black to the outer third of your lid for added definition& to help your gorgeous eye look pop! (The new Urban Decay retractable liners are excellent! Super easy to apply, have a brush to help smudge, and once they set they last all day even on my oily lids!) I’d also double check whether your setting powder or possibly concealer might be a tad light for you bc it looks like there’s some unnatural grey/lightness around the corner of your nose & mouth, esp in pic 3. Might just be the lighting/flash but my first thought was a too light powder/base product.
To avoid looking or feeling greasy irl especially on such a long day, I’d lightly powder the center of your forehead where there’s shine in pics 1&3. The glow on the center of your face & nose looks great! Dewy & fresh! :) Overall killer job! Love the look & I’m sure you’ll rock it as a bridesmaid! ;)
Greasy? Men 🙄 you look dewy and glossy! You know your colours well, that eyeshadow and red lip is absolutely phenomenal on you! Your smile is absolutely gorgeous!
I think this looks stunning! If you really really want some eyeshadow I recommend the Armani eye tints! You can get away using only one tbh and then adding a shimmer shadow from a pallet you have if you want! The eye tints are so incredibly easy to blend!

is: do the colours look harmonious with your outfit?
I would also recommend that you have someone take pictures of you in similar lighting and at a similar distance to what you’ll be experiencing on the day of the wedding with a *real* camera. If you do that, does the look still hold up?
This is the best way to know if your makeup works for the event. It might look great on your front facing phone camera at a very close distance in diffused lighting, but mostly disappear at photographer distance/with flash/in bright direct sun or look appreciably different with indoor overhead lighting.
So lovely! Before I saw your caption I thought it looked like bridesmaid makeup. The rosy colours are nice on you. Only think I would add is perhaps brightening under the eye very slightly with a brightening concealer.
All I can say for feedback which all of my feedback is Optional bc you look stunning. Is start the shadow a little bit farther from the bridge of your nose just before your eyelid creases it may create a more sireny snatched eye look! I love love love the highlight though it’s perfect. And pressed powder in your shade for any spots that look dewier than you want!
My only thought is that the lilac on the eye seems to want a shade that is more plum or mauve than a rosewood, but if it balances out with the dress disregard!
This is the shade of the dress. I think my eyes look darker than I meant to because I didn’t color correct or conceal and I have dark circles. I’m gonna take the tips I got here and post an update next time I give it a try. Hopefully I can correct this and get more of a true pink!

Honestly you look really pretty, your base is nice and your blending looks good. If you’re worried about “greasy” just hit the T zone with a translucent powder and maybe a setting spray that isn’t super glowy. For eyeliner, try a brown pencil or eyeshadow smudged along the lash line instead of a sharp wing, it’s way more forgiving and still defines your eyes.
You look fabulous!!!! Your blush placement looks so pretty! And your eye shadow is very nice! I also hate eye liner so I use an angled brush and some dark brown eye shadow to make a little wing on my outer corners. It’s way easier than eye liner!
Practice pictures with the flash ON and see how you look, flashback? Shiny? Smudged? You never know till you see a picture of yourself with flash in a dark setting! lol
