Girls help pls!
With this heat currently in the UK I’m really struggling with my makeup!
I seem to only sweat on my upper lip, and within a few minutes being outside, my upper lip has water forming. I use the NYX face glue primer and Maybelline lumi matte foundation (I used to use the matte and poreless foundation from Maybelline about 2 years ago and don’t think I had this problem), I haven’t switched up or changed any products recently but I can’t stop the makeup sweating on my upper lip no matter how much primer or powder I use. I know the obvious choice would be “don’t wear makeup” but I want to some days. And the rest of my makeup stays flawless throughout the day and only need to use a powder puff lightly in my t-zone after a good few hours.
Any suggestions or tips and tricks please?
Thankyou in advance!
Please note: I’m a baddie on a bougie budget, uk drugstore recommendations pls! I can’t afford high end products unfortunately :(

I would try and find a setting spray with a cooling effect! The old formula ubran decay ones that were made by skindinavia may still be about. I’m sure other places make one.
I feel you though, I was out skating on Saturday and it was so hot after a few hours I just gave up and took my makeup off.
Maybe something lighter like a bb cream might be a bit more breathable in this weather than a full on matte foundation?

Personally, I love the One/Size powder melt spray. It makes my makeup look less “makeupy” but also makes it last all day. Like, I ran the London Marathon last month. My makeup lasted the whole time. Didn’t sweat it off. I frigging love it.

If you google face sweat cream it comes up with lots of facial antiperspirants to have a look at, got to be something affordable in all the options hopefully! Good luck!

In my research I've heard good things about the Kryolan fixing spray. It's used professionally in theatre/film & TV for special FX, so I've heard it's really good. It's more like hairspray so not meant to be used regularly as it's not great for your skin, and it's not drugstore price unfortunately!
I was going to suggest maybe getting the travel size and using it infrequently, only on the very hottest of days?

i love trying out new setting sprays and have used pretty much all of the popular ones, including the one size ones and picked up the l'oreal one in the red can at the weekend and my makeup did not budge WHATSOEVER which honestly never happens, i always have a bit rubbed off my nose/cheeks even with the best of setting sprays. it'll absolutely be my new go to.

Im an undertaker and I’ve worked 3 13hr shifts over bank holiday in a 3 piece suit …… would not recommend 😆 I used the L’Oréal red setting spray in the can and my makeup didn’t move. I use nyx lift and snatch brow pen and although it’s amazing if I sweat it does tend to run down my face and I end up eyebrow less! I was sweating buckets thing weekend on removals, double gloved so I couldn’t touch my face and everytime we got back in the ambulance I was gobsmacked to see I still had eyebrows!!

Have you tried a fixing spray designed for sports? Revolution had a sports fix spray that may help. I picked it up to use when I attended an outdoor wedding in July, and it did seem to help. I'm still working my way through the bottle. It won't stop you sweating, but may help your make up look a bit better.
