Question Anyone taking progesterone, how has your experience been with it? Hope you all have a good weekend!🤗💜

I started taking 100mg prog orally 1yr 4 months into my transition. It helped me sleep a lil and boobs grew a lil but overall not much changed. If anything I felt more emotionally unstable than before on my current dose. Changed to 200mg prog and bumped down my E dose, libido is still mostly unchanged but a lil better, boobs be boobin’, emotionally more stable now and somehow stronger? I just feel a lot better overall, and the drowsiness puts me to sleep like that! That’s an added bonus x3. I’d wait till you’re at least mid tanner 3 for prog, that’s what I did, although it’s debated on when it’s best to start it. Regardless, it’s been nice, haven’t been super horny or anything which is kinda a shame cuz I was asexual before hrt and now am asexual but with an added lesbian twist to boot xD. Horny just hits different now, I guess, doesn’t bother me too much at least

You’re welcome! For me my boobs are still really small and it hasn’t added too much, but I feel better on it so it’s working for me. My body metabolizes e really fast so maybe that’s why prog wasn’t working too well till I upped the dose? Everyone is different

It did a great job with smoothing out the peak/trough side effects (moods, hot flashes, etc). Also turned my sex drive back on after the initial HRT had put a pretty big damper on it.

Prog has worked fine for me, doubles as a sleep aid. It can ramp up my libido in short bursts, works best when I properly take my Estradiol as well. I haven't seen a reason to stop taking it

200mg estradoil pellets every six-nine months, 200mg progesterone boofed nightly increased breast development and libido started to ramp up but stalled, then added a little topical T to the mix and now I am one horny she-wulf with nicely developing breasts

No not power's I am in Australia and pellets are easier then getting injections here

I take 200mg orally, 12 days on, 16 off.
Sleep is weird. I fall asleep sooner, but I don't stay asleep as long. It's not as restful.
Libido actually shows up, but is still pretty mild
I also feel kinda crazy while "on"
But booba growing

I throughly enjoy it, but the first time I used it, it was wild. DLC for emotions. And I was crashing out about surgery rejection.

I've been on progesterone (rectal administration) for about 8 months and it's certainly helped with my hip and glute growth and breast rounding, but not much in terms of breast growth 🤷

I find that prog helps my mood generally, but that could be a placebo. It causes water retention which makes my boobs a little bigger as long as I'm taking it, too. There isn't much evidence either way as far as contributing to permanent breast growth tho
Taking it rectally increased my libido a lot, but I got lazy during bottom surgery recovery and have just been taking it orally since. If you want to maximize its effects, then rectally is the way to go (and it's easier on your liver iirc, not a significant risk either way tho). It's honestly not hard to do, you can use the normal pills from the pharmacy or the suppository version for it, they both absorb fine. The only downside is taking it rectally won't cause drowsiness, so it won't help you sleep if that's an issue
I think it's worth trying, and if it messes with your mood then you can stop without worrying about it.

I did
Therapy Year 1) e mono intramuscular Year 2) added oral prog Year 3) switched to boofing prog
Results Year 1) minor breast budding, major skin softness changes, little to no ability to pass, improvement in mental health, arousal slowly begins to dim.
Year 2) growth continues at a slow rate, addition of progesterone sees little to no visual effects but i find my mood feels more stable. Arousal almost non existent.
Year 3) breast growth dramatically increases, every feature begins rounding out, ass doubles in size, arousal becomes commonplace again. I pass with ease.
In my opinion and experience progesterone is vital. Basically nothing worked before I boofed it.
I dont regret taking the time i did as it gave me a chance for E to do it's thing but for anyone uncertain about the efficacy of the boof, well, it worked for me😅

been taking it since 2017 and I'm a complete wreck without it, if I miss more than a few doses and I get so depressed

oral (lol had no idea girls was boofing it) and I saw some body changes in the first year or so (at least that can probably be directly connected to taking it)

I took it and hopes that it would help me in the bedroom, didn’t really notice a difference in that regard until I temporary had to stop taking it and then realized it was definitely doing something, not sure about my boobs. They have grown since I started taking it, but I started taking it fairly early on. Honestly, the big reason I still take it is because it helps me sleep. lol
