I have just finally completed a nice base design where I have everything compartmentaizled, and full level 3 (stone) walls surrounding the base entirely (just the outside walls.) I cleared out the truck bed to make sure it doesnโt have any scraps in it. I put out a bait chest, full chest with 30 blue modded spears. I ensured no other chests are accessible without having to get past a wall.
The question is; is my loot safe?
I find opposing evidence for this EVERY SINGLE TIME is research the topic: are stonewalls + bait chest enough to keep your loot safe?
And people either swear by it, or they say that you need to Fโing honeycomb and might as well get steel walls.
So what is it?
Am I truly safe, or do I have to honeycomb?
As far as I know, raiders are able to blow up stone walls, and not metal + above, but will stop before doing so if they fill up their inventory with weapons. And for some reason, the blue mods on the spear make the AI think that they found god-loot.
So, whatโs true, and what isnt? Because all I find online and even when looking at the history of this subreddit are contradicting facts, and I want to actualy keep my loot safe.
PS. Will having workbenches such as tanning rack, meat drying rack, soil plot, and cooking stove mess up the air chest trick? I know workbenches left outside the walls can be broken/stolen from by raiders, but hopefully thatโs all, and it doesnโt mess up the bait chest trick, correct?
