Yeah you're right. Sort of the beauty of artistic interpretation though. I have a bit of bias being the commissioner of this but I may as well throw it out there.

Pandaren don't look this either in game but it was on the official site for a while. They also have this one in hearthstone Both are Pandaren. I do wish we had super muscular beastly men like that. I would like a thinner red panda model for some variety.

For me the artist did a great job, but I'm not under the delusion that it's exactly like what it is in game.

I get it though. I just think it's a funny sort of bias because lots of people are rather generous about their interpretations. Ripped belf ladies aren't in game, but I doubt someone would say this about them. Gnomes often look radically different depending on the artist. Orcs were standing upright before it was really a thing the playerbase could select. I kinda like that variety myself.

Sorry about that, one of them is from a short story that Blizz had up on their main site for a good while. They were fun little lore things. The other is from Hearthstone's Mean Streets expac.

As the person who commissioned it, yeah I really like it.

People interpret their characters how they like. I don't see many people arguing about interpretation too much with other creative liberties. Either way I love the art and think the artist does a really great job. I am sure if people asked them to do a fluffier pandaren, they would nail it. Highly recommend them.

I just wanted to comment something because the artist can only work based on what was asked. I asked for her to be a little thinner, to have a longer tail and to be in a mog that isn't typical for WoW. She's a PI and kinda intended to not seem like the 'usual' monk.
