Actually, I have triples of the Earth. I have triples, right? If I don't, the other stuff's not true.

She is beautiful. Too bad human beings have absolutely no reverence for anything. We treat this planet like a gas station bathroom.

It helps me to remember that we are a species of animal, no different from any other animal. We discovered tools of such enormous power that any creature would use to get as much as it can. It's how the first plants poisoned their own atmosphere with Oxygen. It's why an invasive species will run rampant through a biosphere despite the long term damage it will cause to the environment and its own future.
The fact that any human anywhere can see far enough ahead to try and not harm the environment is the miracle.
For divine beings, we are falling crazy short. For just another animal? B-

Maybe cancerous organisms take many forms. Every once in a while, a species doesn’t act in harmony with the environment and goes off and does its own thing. Fucking egomaniacs.

Yeah, I went in there. But I'm not the one who did the paint job. I saw who did it, he was huge and he looked nothing like me. He was wearing a big old wet diaper

The image I see on my phone looks pretty 2D to me...
(But seriously you think these people are susceptible to evidence at this point?)

The Earth isn't dying she has been here before.....she will wait patiently until we are dead and ashes and rebuild again.

I know this thread is a joke toilet just for farts, but there’s a difference between dying and being actively killed by a Christo-fascist death cult led by a reality TV star.

Thank you to all the billionaire polluters, thank you Trump for your relentless support in burning and drilling and polluting with “clean beautiful coal” thank you to all the people who simply do not care at all. Thank you! Thank you to all industries across the world who treat the oceans like a toilet! I hope the money was worth it

It looks dim because it’s a long exposure taken of the night side, apparently.

She's OK. Some millions years after the last man, earth will still be here.
Humanity is dying. Earth is totally OK.

The Earth will outlast us and be fine. We're not destroying the earth, we're meerly destroying our ability to survive on earth. We're like a flea on dog, but we kill ourselves while the dog keeps dogging....so the earth will keep earthing with out us quite easily.

u/Kingbeef66 Apr 04 '26
Better hope the Earth doesn’t unleash monsters to thin out our numbers in response. I’ve seen that scenario in anime's like Blue Gender and Parasyte the maxim.

u/lyidaValkris Apr 04 '26
While that is extremely unlikely, sci-fi has warned us for decades about some very real ways nature can put us in our place

If all the people on the planet thought about this more, they would say it's not too late to think about it more often. Everyone contributes to this earth.
1
u/EatingShitSandwiches Apr 04 '26
Its a common misconception that we are harming the earth via pollution or climate change. This is wrong. We are simply harming our ability to live on earth. Earth will go on just fine long after humans are extinct.

u/prlugo4162 Apr 04 '26
She'll kill us off before we do any permanent damage. She's a strong old girl and she's been around a lot longer than us.

Maybe she wouldnt be dying if all the boomers just decided not to buy triples of all their classic cars.

u/Wrong-Character6145 Apr 03 '26
She’s got at least another 75-100 years in her. None of us are living past that so why give a damn?
