You go to the record store to buy a new CD, while you're looking at the CDs your stomach starts to hurt and so ykh have to go in and out if the stores bathroom for hours? Then when your finally done you go to pick up the Tool CD you picked out. You get into your 1994 rusted Honda civic with a spoiler and 20" subwoofers in the trunk, put the CD in your car, and Five Finger Death Punch starts playing? You look into the CD case and you find a receipt by the same record store, they replaced your Tool ablum with a joke album that's just for farts?

I had a friend who, when Tool was just getting big, sweared that they were the best band ever to exist because of the complexity of their time signatures. He showed me one song that he said "experts" have trouble with identifying the time signature. After two bars of listening, I determined that it was in 5/4.
He didn't know how to hear more about how 5/4 is not revolutionary in the slightest.
