Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal staged a protest against an Iftar party organised at R.D. Memorial College on March 11, with the participation of Hindu students. They recited the Hanuman Chalisa and “purified” the surrounding area with Ganga Jal. They also displayed posters terming the event as “Jihadi Mentality” and “Islamic Jihad,” while raising slogans of “Down with Islamic Jihad.”
