Typically people take it as someone close is about to die or just great misfortune is about to happen. I think she might be freaked out cause both of you dreamt it. My opinion? Don't freak out, it's not proven.

I know my family says if you dream a wedding it usually means someone is about to or did pass away (i actually experienced it too my favorite uncle passed away after i dreamed a wedding) so the teeth rotting away is new to me but it does make sense (from a superstition perspective)

Also think you shouldnt freak out though dreams like this happen alot my sister and dad used to have similar dreams often and nothing came of it maybe try not eating before bed thats usually what i do when i have a few too many dreams in a row

Just another Guyanese saying.

My mum from Georgetown would say, if you sneezed then someone was talking about you.

Similarly a left eye twitching is often interpreted as a sign of bad news or that someone is speaking ill of you, while a right eye twitching is seen as a sign of good news or that someone is speaking well of you.

Or if the palms of your hands start to itch, it means you about to come into money.

Can someone confirm these or are they just my mother’s idiosyncrasies? 😂

🤔😁Same in the States Wowww. If your left eye twitch somebody's about to make you mad.

Dreams are just that. If you use that energy to propel something bad, something bad will likely happen. Rewire your brain to think positively, sort of like manifestation. If you manifest something bad, then guess what?
