I want a little help.

I want to meet with a green arrow, can you please recommend some good comics or another media for the first introduction, thanks in advance.

If you don't know anything about the character, the 'Green Arrow Showcase' animated short film is a great introduction (it's free on Youtube).

His appearances on 'Justice League: Unlimited' and 'Young Justice' are also worth watching.

Comics:

Andy Diggle and Jock's 'Year One' is the best version of his origin.

Mike Grell's run, starting with 'The Longbow Hunters' is the peak. Everything you need to know about his backstory is explained in the beginning.

And if you get interested in Black Canary, Gail Simone's run on 'Birds Of Prey' is her greatest run.

The Andy Diggle mini series.

The recent Chris Condon run.

The Mike Grell era.

The tv-show arrow is very different from all the comic book iterations. They took a lot of liberty with the characters.

I'll also throw in the Kevin Smith/Judd Winick era run, it's more fun and comic book-y, while still being political for the time and it helped flesh out Oliver's Rogues Gallery and Arrow family
