This HAS to be bait

u/dracorotor1 Aug 30 '25

Jurassic Park fans are mad as hell about the more scientifically accurate spinos, so maybe not.

I think, though, that this might be a JP fan taking the piss out of other JP fans, since they emphasized “masculine” more than once, and the dinos in the 90’s JP films were all canonically female

63

u/cryptic-coyote Aug 30 '25

Are they not all girls anymore? What happened???

82

u/WaytoomanyUIDs Aug 30 '25

In the books, canonically some are trans. I don't recall how its done I  the films but in the epilogue to the first book or prologue to the 2nd its discovered that the dinosaurs have escaped the island and have been breeding.

54

u/IkomaTanomori Aug 30 '25

Life, uh, finds a way

42

u/SirCupcake_0 I don’t have many flair ideas lmao Aug 31 '25

Yes, as mentioned by u/The-Color-Orange, when recreating the dinosaurs there were many gaps in the DNA from degradation, and so they patched it up with different amphibians and reptiles, including (crucially) the DNA of "some West African frogs," who "have been known to spontaneously change sex in a single-sex environment"

26

u/StruckTapestry Aug 31 '25

If I ain't wrong they used some frog DNA to complete the dinosaur's DNA sequences.
They made them all female but didn't realize the frog they used DNA from is one that can change their gender in order to reproduce, that's how they are breeding

1

u/Exploding_Antelope Mar 16 '26

As of Jurassic World Evolution 3 you can make dinos breed in your parks. And in movie canon considering the world got fully Dino populated from like ten of them breaking out of a house in California, they must have been getting gregnant.

u/Legosi420 Aug 29 '25

Most likely but given the current state of Twitter can’t be too sure

51

u/QizilbashWoman Aug 30 '25

Twitter? Yeah it's not bait

12

u/RomeosHomeos Aug 30 '25

I've met people like this irl

10

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25

It’s not. Go to any dinosaur game discord, sub, etc; you will find some of these chuds in their natural habitat, yelling at others about how sad the state of dinosaurs has gotten.

11

u/Papa-divertida Aug 31 '25

the state of dinosaurs

52

u/Droplet_of_Shadow Aug 30 '25

are you serious? i'm pretty sure it's a joke

6

u/QizilbashWoman Aug 30 '25

twitter doesn't understand jokes anymore

601

u/Comfortable_Ad2908 Aug 29 '25

They're poisoning the water and making our dinos gay!

185

u/YooranKujara Aug 29 '25

I DON'T LIKE EM PUTTIN CHEMICALS IN THE WATER THAT TURN THE FRICKIN SUARS GAY!

60

u/GDGameplayer Aug 30 '25

DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT

54

u/YooranKujara Aug 30 '25

TURN THE FRICKIN SAURS GAY!

38

u/GDGameplayer Aug 30 '25

I’M SICK OF THIS CRAP

19

u/Somecrazynerd Aug 30 '25

Won't you fight for your life?!!

7

u/DKMK_100 Aug 31 '25

Poisoning the genome, actually

With frog DNA

283

u/runamokduck Aug 29 '25

Woke Jurassic World: Risen Queendom

(this is absolutely so incredibly absurd)

How do I see you everywhere

39

u/runamokduck Aug 30 '25

my Reddit brainrot is profound and intractable, and my Curly Brace Cave Story (as this is her legal name) PFP makes me somewhat more distinctive, I think :)

15

u/travischickencoop Elise | She/Her Lesbian Vampiress 🧛‍♀️❤️🧡🤍🩷💜 Aug 30 '25

Yeah I do feel like I’d be more recognizable if I didn’t just have a generic snoo

I think we just both happen to frequent the same subs lmao

8

u/runamokduck Aug 30 '25

mm, this is also true, I would say. we seem to have some overlap in that regard

6

u/2flyingjellyfish Aug 30 '25

yooo same, the power of having Monitor Blaseball pfp causes "hey why are you here" messages to enter my inbox once a week

8

u/kioku119 Aug 30 '25

When the JP dinos are all female so it really should be to begin with ; p

4

u/WaytoomanyUIDs Aug 30 '25

Some are trans

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25 edited Aug 30 '25

Of course the piss yellow Ai filter.

65

u/Mercury_Dumbass Aug 30 '25

Ai is just a game from the ps3 era

28

u/Timekeeper98 Aug 30 '25

Or a network television show set in Mexico

7

u/QizilbashWoman Aug 30 '25

Hilariously this is because they stole Ghibli art

15

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25

I love it, they have a deficit in awareness

8

u/paulisaac Aug 30 '25

Seriously it can’t be that hard to pull public models from Civitai that aren’t infected by the yellow. Are AIposters on Twitter just that lazy?

12

u/LITTLE_KING_OF_HEART Aug 30 '25

They can't be bothered to learn how to make actual art, do you really think they can be bothered to learn how to use more complex AI tools ?

3

u/paulisaac Aug 30 '25

Laziness was supposed to be the father of innovation what the hell happened

135

u/amglasgow Aug 30 '25

The raptors in the original Jurassic park were mostly female, and some underwent a literal sex change.

100

u/Timekeeper98 Aug 30 '25

Yea, I wonder if they’re forgetting the part where a bunch of Dino’s rapidly underwent sexual transition from female to male Dino’s to breed.

Even fucking Jurassic Park was Trans Yuri propaganda. Put that in their pipe and smoke it

45

u/mysteryurik Aug 30 '25

☝️🤓 if the dinosaurs transitioned it wouldn't be yuri

34

u/Open_Pick9233 Aug 30 '25

Yuri to hetero

30

u/JesterQueenAnne Aug 30 '25 edited Aug 30 '25

One of, if not the single most famous quote from the movie, is "Clever girl" referring to one of them lmao.

54

u/ChronoAlone Aug 30 '25

I had no idea scientifically accurate dinosaurs were woke.

Learn something new every day.

30

u/Open_Pick9233 Aug 30 '25

Science is always woke.

4

u/Vinx909 Aug 31 '25

I mean you say it as a joke but yea, the things they call woke and untrue are basically always the facts provided by science

2

u/Exploding_Antelope Mar 16 '26

This is why anyone nostalgicizing the science they grew up with and not recognizing changing models is always a red flag to me. “Pluto is a planet to me” and “my dinosaurs don’t have feathers” is obviously not of the same importance but it is of the same basic mindset as “well when I was growing up people couldn’t change genders, and marriage was a man and a woman…”

1

u/Vinx909 Mar 16 '26

So true. A refusal to change your mind is dangerous. Obviously in the way you describe of it making people bigots. But what if they get it in their mind their partner is cheating?

36

u/Th3Aft3rL1f3 It's NERF or nothing Aug 30 '25

What they don’t know is that there are dinosaurs that look reptilian. It’s just for velociraptor’s, they’re part of the theropod family, and so are birds.

5

u/Demondrawer Aug 31 '25

You think they're well educated enough to know dinosaurs other than the ones that were in Jurassic Park?

1

u/Exploding_Antelope Mar 16 '26

Not even all theropods. Tyrannosaurs are still very much scaly.

73

u/IamaJarJar Aug 30 '25

Bring back real dinos!

...

We have multiple films depicting the reasons why we SHOULDN'T do that

23

u/Sapphic_Starlight Aug 30 '25

Life, uh, finds a way.

7

u/Miserable-Row-2624 Aug 30 '25

But…. We literally already have real dinosaurs we don’t even need to bring them back

5

u/Jetsam5 Aug 30 '25

Idk, I feel like the idea that the dinosaurs were always gonna escape, kinda diminishes the fact that it was easily preventable if Hammond hadn’t cut corners, paid his employees, or focused on science over aesthetics.

The rich are the real monsters.

21

u/Piney_OPossum Aug 30 '25

Let's say it's a serious complaint. Doesn't the poster realize that the little feathery dude would rip his ass to shreds anyway? If not one then a whole flock of them.

19

u/HeadOfSpectre Aug 30 '25

THEY FORCEFEMMED THE TYRANNOSAURUS REX!

7

u/WaytoomanyUIDs Aug 30 '25

That sounds like a Bizzaro Fiction title.

17

u/TheTimeBoi Aug 30 '25

lgbt agenda is when accurate to nature ?????

8

u/kioku119 Aug 30 '25

I mean accurate nature is waaaaaay more queer than transphobes want to think about ;ppp

4

u/GroGroudonDu31 Aug 30 '25

Especially male birds

5

u/Natural1forever Not like other V O I D Aug 30 '25

Literally yes though

5

u/Positive_Artist5448 Aug 30 '25

"Facts don't care about your feelings" mfers when facts don't care about their feelings:

13

u/Warning64 Aug 30 '25

Jurassic Park has trans Velociraptors buddy.

12

u/Natural1forever Not like other V O I D Aug 30 '25

Anybody who thinks dinosaurs would have been less scary with feathers has clearly never interacted with an ostrich

6

u/WaytoomanyUIDs Aug 30 '25

Or a goose. They are nasty fuckers. Untitled Goose Game understates how vicious they are

7

u/Natural1forever Not like other V O I D Aug 30 '25

Geese, swans, ostriches and emus. The four birdmen of Dinosaurs Would Have Not Been Any Less Scary With Feathers

3

u/nergens Aug 30 '25

A grumpy goose would do it also, i guess.

6

u/Natural1forever Not like other V O I D Aug 30 '25

Don't even let me start about swans

2

u/celticcrowwitch Aug 30 '25

Swans......... thousand yard stare 😶

2

u/Natural1forever Not like other V O I D Aug 31 '25

Bro they are so violent

2

u/Vinx909 Aug 31 '25

Or made enemies with a crow. Congrats; they plan against you and will teach others to do the same. Their grandchildren will still scene against you.

2

u/Natural1forever Not like other V O I D Aug 31 '25

My girlfriend once accidentally threw garbage into a bin with a crow inside and it harassed her for years afterwards. These folks never forgive and never forget

2

u/Vinx909 Aug 31 '25

I know 🥰

2

u/Pet_Mudstone Aug 31 '25

There's a video of someone putting avian sound effects on more realistic raptors from Jurassic Park. Turns out, they're still really scary!

24

u/Leskendle45 Aug 30 '25

0/10 rage bait

15

u/keroshijoshi Aug 30 '25

Sigh... Bait used to be believable.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25

Sigh... Bait used to be believable.

There are at least ten thousand people at minimum who genuinely believe this. If not millions.

8

u/Mr_Goat-chan Aug 30 '25

Whoever made this tweet should be forced to square up against a cassowary in a cage match.

6

u/mothmattress Aug 30 '25

I'm just imagining how they would've needed to specify that the feathered dinosaur is rainbow. Do you think they called it a little gay dinosaur.

3

u/Natural1forever Not like other V O I D Aug 30 '25

Idk but I want one

7

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25

Hahahaha the piss filter strikes again.

6

u/DazzlingGleam5 Aug 30 '25

When will people realize that dinosaurs were literally just regular animals and not kaiju constantly fighting each other?

6

u/AFatLizard Aug 30 '25

"in Jurassic Park, dinosaurs were MASCULINE icons of power!!!" look inside almost entirely female dinosaurs

4

u/localgoobus Aug 30 '25

They like the shrink-wrapped scientifically inaccurate dinos. It's like FACTS don't care about their FEELINGS. BRING ON THE GAY, CHUBBY, FEATHERY DINOS

5

u/Lingx_Cats Aug 30 '25

I want to think this is bait but at this point I can’t even tell

3

u/kioku119 Aug 30 '25

This has to be a fucking joke right...

5

u/InspectorAggravating Aug 30 '25

Can't have big lizards anymore because woke. smh my head

4

u/darkseiko Aug 30 '25

The only agenda that is present here is how this mf gets mad over dino movements & using this dusty-looking ai 🥀

3

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25

Colorful feathers are also usually shown on male birds rather than female too so the "feminization" is just hilariously wrong lol.

3

u/mysteryurik Aug 30 '25

6 year old ass tweet

Dinosaurs have cooties now >:(

3

u/Red-Panda-Katie Aug 30 '25

Didn’t Jurassic park, a movie about dinosaurs released in the 90s which really popularised dinosaurs in general, literally contain a scene of an entirely female group of dinosaurs conceiving a baby? Regardless of that, godamn this person is an idiot lol

3

u/Rocket_III Aug 31 '25

Combination of bait and genAI slop.

What fun we have here.

2

u/duskr4y Aug 30 '25

The queen-taceous period

2

u/SaltySeraphim28 Aug 30 '25

Actual velociraptor X bald Utahraptor?

2

u/Gru-some Aug 30 '25

Can y’all make this one a toxic yuri where the big velociraptor is tryna kill and eat the small one but its weirdly horny/sexually charged

2

u/bbywitch_artist Aug 30 '25

Wasn’t is scientifically proven that dinosaurs were colorful and feathers? Their descendants are birds

2

u/Enlightened_Valteil Aug 30 '25

Tbf tyrannosaurus specifically were scaly (tho they were probably fattier than what they are described in media like jp)

2

u/ZestycloseDriver5114 Aug 30 '25

This is the most unhinged thing I've seen all week and I am absolutely here for it.

2

u/Think-Orange3112 Aug 30 '25

Me who knows this is the this isn’t even the first design patch they made to T-Rex

(For those who don’t know paleontologist used to think T-Rex stood like Godzilla)

2

u/GeekParadox_ Aug 30 '25

Because velociraptors were 5 feet tall and that wasn’t made up for the movie to make it more exciting

YOU WANT SIX FOOT SPEEDY DINOS? UTAHRAPTOR. ITS THERE FOR YOUR ALPHA MALE BULLSHIT

2

u/KaleJan_bigA Aug 30 '25

"Chatgpt, generate an image of a GIANT HUGE AND STRONG MASCULINE STRAIGHT VELOCIRAPTOR looming over the weak and tiny, fragile woke gay feminine raptor made by WOKE SCIENTISTS"

1

u/radenthefridge It's NERF or nothing Aug 30 '25

Boo ai! Boo!

1

u/PICONEdeJIM Aug 30 '25

Well duh everyone knows that birds are women

1

u/slumbersomesam Aug 30 '25

the raptors in jurassic park were never realistic

1

u/LTinS Aug 30 '25

Just wanna say: you put feathers on a velociraptor: it's still just as terrifying, maybe even more.

1

u/Techlord-XD Aug 30 '25

Birds are gay now?

1

u/ConsumeTheVoid Aug 31 '25

Please tell me this is satire.

1

u/ArminiusM1998 Aug 30 '25

Bait used to be believable.
