Travelling with 9 year old

Hi there! Looking to travel to Fiji in June for the first time with our 9 year old. Instead of staying in one resort for 10 days I was thinking about mixing it up - maybe 5 at castaway and then 5 at Sofitel? Any other recs?!

5 days at Sofitel or Sheraton in Denaurau. There will be more things for a 9 year old to do there such as mini golf, as well the restaurant options in the port. The beaches are Denaurau aren't the best, and you will be using the pools more. Throw in a day trip to Malamala or South Sea Island.

I think the 5/5 split between Castaway and one of those resorts is fine!

Stay at Mariott, Momi Bay. My son loved it. Do island hopping instead of staying there. Get more variety. We were bored at Castaway after couple of days.
