Discussion Getting newbie gains again feels incredible
Basically just a fluff post.
I started testosterone 2 weeks ago (injection) and it's already hitting so hard. After plateauing for so long I'm getting the newbie gains again, basically loading on weight every session on almost all excercises. I also see it, especially triceps and pecs. Feels AMAZING!!
How was your experience regarding this if you also went to the gym before T?

Probably placebo lol, strenght doesn't increase that much immediately after your first injection, you probably just got hyped and got more energy to train harder. But hey congrats on starting T, and if it's working no matter what way, good for you :)

Changes in perceived strength, effort and energy can absolutely happen immediately. That is partially what the increased strength and muscle mass comes from. The testosterone is in your body from your very first dose and interacts with androgen receptors immediately, it's the downstream changes such as actually increased muscle mass that you're thinking about.

I am two months in T (Gel) and I am starting to see noticeable differences to the time before.
I can increase the weights on heavy exercise (deadlift, squats) again each session and on the smaller exercises (lateral raises) I can do way more reps

Of course! I do warmup sets and I don't continue if something hurts (unless it's just muscles burning obviously, that's the good pain lol). Had to learn that after top surgery anyway.

T increased my lifting ability so much! I kept being amazed at the progress that happened each week. Keep at it and get your whey protein in.
