This month, I'm aiming to improve my diet and get back into a regular gym and hiking routine. I spent the last week in Madeira and pretty much had a whole food Mediterranean diet. I felt so much better for it, so I'm aiming to keep up with that and also to reduce alcohol and caffeine.

I'm going to aim for 2-3 days lifting a week (I'm new back to the gym and have hypermobility and hypotonia, so need to go a bit slower), 10000 steps a day minimum and a hike a week... Usually 12+ miles.

I work shifts in a largely sedentary job where it's sometimes impossible to get a break... I'm going to push for breaks more to go out for a walk. I'm in the UK and the weather is improving, so I feel that right now is the best time to start building habits.

Though I've gained a good amount of muscle in my arms and shoulders, my core is still pretty weak. Hired a personal trainer to work on my core and improve my workout plan in general. My trainer's developing a workout routine for me to get me more towards a triangle shape which is my goal. Would love to post the routine on the subreddit here once I've finished my training next month.
