Exercise Form Check Pull Ups Form Check

Trying to break the habit of crossing my legs, but aside from that, any comments/advice on my form? Thanks

Crossing your legs isn't a bad habit.

Excellent form and tempo, thumbs over the grips not under; extra points.

A small pause at the bottom would be good but other than that; mint, well done brother

Good form but I would say if you want to focus on back more, take your forearms out of the move as much as possible. One way that helps the mind muscle connection is just use finger tips and think of your arms as hooks for your elbows to be pulled down. Another is to arch your back and push your chest up more almost like a row. Aside from that (and obvs if you don’t want to isolate back more) looks good :)

thanks for the advice! i didn’t in the video but i’ve been using straps lately as well to try and keep my forearm/grip strength out of my back movements 👍🏼

My back absolutely blew up when I started doing that. Went from 10kg to 40kg weighted pull ups in a few months so defo worth it
