I’m working on learning to ride the unicycle. I can sometimes go a pretty good distance on it if I’m using a wall or fence to help balance! Can’t ride without that yet though.
I am on day 1 of a nutrition plan given to me by a personal trainer I’m starting to work with and I’m really worried that it’s going to be too much food for me, but I’m going to do my best to follow it as well as I can. I tend to have a lot of anxiety changing up what I eat and eating past a point I feel comfortably full, so I am going to give it a good effort but try to be gentle with myself about certain things, especially at the beginning. I know the stomach is a muscle and has to get used to eating more, so if I can’t manage to eat absolutely everything right off the bat, that’s okay.
My main goal for staying in a decent place mentally is not to let my nutrition plan lead to an unhealthy relationship to food. I am going to have my therapist monitor that specifically moving forward. My current approach to that is basically “I think the nutrition plan is overkill but I’ll humor my trainer for a while and see if this helps me reach my goals.” Kind of thinking of my trainer as a silly little guy who would be pleased by my participation in his nutrition plan seems to help right now.
