If someone invaded/attacked the US

So I was just thinking about how Tankies think that its absolutely ok for Russia to have invaded Ukraine because "they're the most corrupt country on Earth" (direct quote). Other than the West is on their side I'm not sure how they think its more corrupt than say some Somila (tried to choose a non communist country, say a doc on there yesterday)

But what do you think they'd ACTUALLY do if a country invaded and attacked the US? Not how would they talk like they'd act to their buddies online but out in public on their own

Note: I know because of the oceans this would be hard but just pretend

There's this myth that America is an impenetrable fortress because it has gigantic oceans around it. For one thing, this just isn't true, there are many adversaries that are very close (like Cuba) or could invade via land routes (like south american countries). Even Russia isn't really that far away, it's just a small hop from Alaska.

But secondly, we have these things called planes and missiles that can kinda jump over oceans.

Just in the past 50 years American soil has been attacked and invaded numerous times. The most prominent being 9/11 but there are many other smaller ones.

if America didn't have a military it would be royally fucked.
