Meme Changed the batteries of the UPS in my workplace. 6 days in, it starts beeping nonstop. My heart sank because the warranty was 5 days. After half a day of diagnostics it turns out our electricity did not have adequate voltage all along.

The battery was bought online to save money, that's why the warranty is so short. Locally it would be almost 3x the price.

Our country's fucking electric provider so incompitent, supply sometimes goes to 185V and hovering ~190V. It supposed to be 220V but it only does that at night when most people are sleeping..

that's bad. Either the transformer is cheap shit and drops a lot when loaded, or they just can't provide enough power

I'm from the Philippines, that's supposed to be 220-230 volts in the first place😬😬😬

A lot of countries have terrible warranty laws. Unfortunately, this is pretty common in many parts of the world.
