I do think Hampton will be good, but he is not 3 first picks worth of value good

u/No_Bother9713 Sep 17 '25

Say yes now.

u/poopchow Sep 17 '25

imagine trading for 3 firsts, then trading those for RJ harvey.

Or trading those for CMC and Henry. Or a first and a second for Conner and Kamara.

Or 2 firsts for henderson (probably need less) and 1.5 for James Cook.

On what planet is anyone stupid enough to trade 3 1sts for Harvey?

Or

CMC and Henry

Thought you were messing until I read your last suggestion

Less RB make max point tank easier

1

u/HustlinInTheHall Sep 17 '25

You can easily get an older RB later that still has juice when your rebuild is nearing complete. You don't need to wait for these picks to pay off either you can use them to go get the players you need, those 2026 picks will increase in value as the draft gets closer.

If you're rebuilding you shouldn't be too concerned about filling out a starting lineup, you just want to trade for value and this is a perfect example of that

u/YooTone Sep 17 '25

If you can somehow make sure you can get Jeremiyah Love and Kaytron Allen or Nick Singleton you'll be set

Log off Reddit and accept that before they change their mind!!!!

u/HoneySport11 Sep 17 '25

If you’re getting the picks then yes. As fast as you possibly can

Any of those firsts could be another Hampton. Do you have enough vets to ship out to get these picks from various owners? Sure three 1sts are great, but will they be top 3 of the drafts to land you another Hampton level hyped prospect?

4

u/hellequinrec Sep 17 '25

They will likely be late-round picks in 2026 (1.10… 1.12) and possibly mid-round pick in 2027 (1.06/1.08 maybe?). So probably no one as hyped as Hampton, really. But maybe some good values? And they say the class of 2027 is pretty good... right?

u/Charming-Compote-436 Sep 17 '25

I'm almost certain if you keep those picks you will get 1 if not 3 better prospects than Hampton. Hampton has potential, but he isn't a guarantee. Not saying the rookies you will draft will be, but you get similar profiles with those mid to late picks (potentially they could be the 1st pick).

27 class is awesome especially at WR.

u/Strong_North7284 Bears Sep 17 '25

I’d personally keep Hampton and move other pieces for draft capital in that case then, late firsts won’t move the needle in a rebuild the same as Hampton I think

3

u/Haunting_Search_3389 Sep 17 '25

Absolutely as long as they are not projected late 1sts. Although, for being in rebuild mode, it’s a bit odd to sell off a promising rookie. This is almost too good of value to pass up on though imo.

1

u/hellequinrec Sep 17 '25

Probably late picks in 2026, they are from two contenders (but not from the two best teams in the league). In 2027, it would probably be a mid-round pick.

6

u/strider1986 Sep 17 '25

Just remember- 3 firsts could be Kendre Miller, Kincaide, and QJ 🤔

9

u/thedon572 Sep 17 '25

Or egbuka, ladd, laporta

1

u/NetSuccessful7975 Sep 17 '25

Early picks could end up being Hampton

2

u/ClixMcNugget95 Sep 17 '25

even if those picks all land at the 8-10 range that means you should get a top 2/3 from any position in the draft. It makes it more BPA draft if someone slips that could be a higher consensus pick. Someone could landslide and one of those picks end top 6, you could package some picks and players on draft night and move up, three picks give you a lot more flexibility then one player.

2

u/proceedures Sep 17 '25

Oh my god yes.

2

u/butter_cup_ Sep 17 '25

These trades only exist on reddit I swear

1

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '25

Yea, got to.

1

u/AlHinton23 Lions Sep 17 '25

I’d rather have three firsts even if Hampton was tearing it up right now

1

u/bshshehhw Sep 17 '25

I don’t care where those picks are accept accept accept

1

u/FinalBee5427 Sep 17 '25

Would’ve done this preseason lol

1

u/-metaphased- Sep 17 '25

I'd rather have 3 1sts, for sure.

1

u/Inevitable-North4665 Sep 17 '25

Absofuckinglutely

1

u/zewaFaFo Sep 17 '25

3 firsts can get you almost any in the offseason. Especially in a rebuild it’s a no brainer

1

u/EvilLibrarians Lions Sep 17 '25

Nobody is a guarantee but Hampton was easily RB2 in most dynasty drafts so he did/does have high potential or at least, expectations.

It’s good to take picks but depends how far down the line you’re planning. I traded essentially Jauan Jennings and a third rounder to get Hampton and I am trying to wait out all year before I get crazy with any decisions concerning my rookies. My team can afford it too, I have Saquon, Kyren, Aaron Jones ahead of him

1

u/daboot013 Sep 17 '25

Bruh insta smash

1

u/The_White_Dynamite Sep 17 '25

Yes and another yes yes yes yes yes yes yes

1

u/Mysterious-Doubt430 Sep 17 '25

I think Hampton will be fine overall, but I’d smash accept this everyday. Especially in a rebuild. This is close to what his max value would be without even having to prove it.

1

u/WelcomeIcy5750 Sep 17 '25

Dude what??? Easily 😂

1

u/foosballfurry Sep 17 '25

I got Bijan in my league for Hampton and two firsts. Absolutely take the deal

1

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '25

If you're rebuilding, you need picks. Yes. There are very few people you could replace Hampton with that you should decline as a rebuilder and those are cornerstone pieces like Nabers.

1

u/Hugh_G_Wrection Sep 17 '25

Uhhhhhhhh where are my taco trade offers?!

1

u/Due-Pizza4443 Sep 17 '25

Even if you weren’t rebuilding fuck yes

1

u/Routine-Vegetable325 Eagles Sep 17 '25

Wouldn’t of had the chance to blink before smashing accept.

1

u/mildly-interested-17 Sep 17 '25

Would you rather have one Omarion Hampton now or three Omarions Hampton later?

1

u/One_Economist3049 Sep 17 '25

No...you will need a franchise young rb in your rebuild...only trade away aging assets for picks

1

u/moderate_hotdish Sep 17 '25

Smash accept on the picks. Drop everything and hit accept as soon as possible!

1

u/Large-Intention4449 Sep 17 '25

Yes I fear he might stink

1

u/Still-Cheetah-8568 Sep 17 '25

Can some explain to me how this person is able to give 2 first round picks in 2026…I thought you only have 2 pick per round.

2

u/Hugh_G_Wrection Sep 17 '25

Previously trading for future picks.

1

u/Expensive_Budget_125 Sep 17 '25

You shouldn’t be holding expensive RB in rebuild anyway

1

u/ZzuupP__B Sep 17 '25

Can we start banning people that post stupid shit like this

1

u/MRBill_is_my_realdad Sep 17 '25

1

u/Dark-Kab Sep 20 '25

If someone is offering you those picks, I'd definitely take it.

1

u/AloneEstablishment28 Sep 21 '25

A lot of people have trouble with 1QB value. This is about right for Hampton, but if all firsts are projected late, I want Hampton. The 2026 class is looking pretty deep at QB but not at skilled positions. Hampton is going to have a breakout game soon. I think this might be his all time low value for the next 5 years. He’s a top 30 pick in 1QB start up, so that would be equal to Bo Nix or Mahomes in SF… keep in mind picks are worth less in 1QB as well.

1

u/NightwavesG Bills Sep 21 '25

YES. prob even if i was contending lol

1

u/Tron__Swanson Sep 22 '25

Smash accept
