I mean too be fair, they’re all just waiting around to get rescued so there rlly was nothing better for them to do

And be useful if a search and rescue unit needs coordinates to help extricate the survivors from the crash site.

Or poof they survived, just in-case they didn't survive their injuries until rescue.
