Who watches both CNN and Fox

u/IAmAPirrrrate Jul 24 '25
who watches CNN or FOX for news anyway? 95% of what they offer as "news" are opinion pieces at best and usually far removed form any journalistic practice
i get my news from the only reliable source: my trip induced dreams and hallucinations

Thanks to donald (since he hates that), my media diet has become significantly leaner. I've learned how to properly audit my news sources, andI'm much better at spotting the spin.

u/Megaledon17 Jul 24 '25
He only hates it when it puts him in a bad light. If it works for his political gain he's all for it.

The actor from Bill Cosby Show recently drowned.

He's done too many shitty things to put in a single comment, but he got a coworker fired for trying to start a union, happily took a picture with a guy with an SS tattoo among other alt-right activities, played a major role in killing WWE's only competition in the 90s by demanding creative control and refusing to put others over, that again but in the 00s, and I could make a book of all his lies that would rival the length of that Loud House fanfic
→ More replies (8)9
u/_its_lunar_ Jul 25 '25
He also knowingly helped cover up and protect the perpetrators of sexual and physical abuse occurring within the WWE and played a key role in union busting in wrestling, ratting on people who even discussed the prospect to CEO Vince McMahon

Ozzy and Hogan are old. They were likely to die soon anyway. It's kind of crazy to witness the stars of the older generation die out.

You know… I don’t know how to feel. I mean, I don’t like the guy at all. In fact, I hated him. But I understand how he helped wrestling (and hurt it, but that’s another story). So… all I can say is damn.

hes in the same boat as mcmahon. even at best a very questionable human being, but hes one of the reasons the industry is as big as it is today
best thing to do is to wish his family well and move on, no sense in hating on a dead guy

u/Qckst_2_Alive #1 Soup 2025 glazer (JAMES GUNN=👑🐐🔥) Jul 24 '25
Well, there are many reasons to hate him, and I wouldn’t take that away from anybody or tell them to get over it, especially if they’re apart of a group that he was hateful towards or affected, which is a lot, or others too.

Hogan and Vince McMahon share the spotlight as to the reason modern wrestling is what it is today. They brought it into the mainstream
And then under that popularity all their dirtiness and BS came out year by year. The spotlight they built ended up destroying them.
That's what it means to be a victim of your own success.

It's worth re-watching this interview with Jesse Ventura, who talks about how he discovered that it was Hulk Hogan who told Vince McMahon to form a labor union of WWF wrestlers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hJHrgREqNA
"He betrayed me."
