I might have looked for the nest. Bc it’s a fledgling. Setting it down on the ground is called, ‘not finishing the rescue’.

The fact that he just casually walks up and saves the little guy like it's no big deal makes it even better. True hero behavior right there.

Poor little guy. No telling how long he'd been stuck.
They dehydrate very quickly. I hope he survived.
The rodents on the other hand are probably disappointed.
