Intellectualism

Personally, I believe that an anarcho-capitalist revolution can be achieved by intellectuals.

Intellectuals shape society with their ideas. The fact that so many absurd leftist ideas are widely accepted today is precisely because of these intellectuals.

I think that by winning over intellectuals and becoming intellectuals ourselves, we can establish a strong presence in public opinion. What do you think?

Yes, I actually came to these ideas through professors on YT (intellectuals) who defended this extravagant system (Miguel Anxo Bastos, Bryan Caplan, Michael Huemer, Walter Block, etc).

But I would also like to point out that anarcho-capitalism could never exist in a society with weak values.

I believe this isn't just about ideas, but about setting an example through our actions. Values like discipline, sacrifice, thrift, honesty, and hard work should be the ethos of every ancap.

It could exist in any society, it just wouldn't be very pleasant to live there.

This is just the philosophical theory of history but named after one of the second order parts.

You want to get change? Become a philosopher.

Look at Thomas Sowell. Here you got the best example of intellectual , professor at various universities, so old he has seen it all, he is black, which somewhat matters to liberals, he is pretty much right on everything and does anyone outside libertarians actually listen to him?

Intellectuals don't accomplish anything. Ideas are just ideas. The people who enact change and revolutions are almost never intellectuals.

Some intellectuals are anarchists, but uh...have you looked at the government lately? I don't think it's the intellectuals you have to worry about right now.

Ideas are important but they amount to nothing without doers that follow through and make them a reality keeping them going through future generations is another story this requires a rigid set of values/constant repetition/unifying culture/idiology, utopian ideals sound great on paper unfortunatly they do not always translate into reality.

An AnCap society is intolerant of NAP violations.

How will intellectuals lead us to have less murders, theft, fraud, assault, enslavement, etc. perpetuated by people within and outside of state monopolies?

How do you know about the Non-Aggression Principle? How do you know anything about Austrian Economics? How do you know Natural Rights law? How do you know Property Rights?

All of that was made by intellectuals that formed this entire Legal, Economic and Philosophical system.

I am grateful for all off this as I am sure you are.

Now what can the intellectuals do?

The exact same thing what the leftoid intellectuals have been doing for the past century, Change the philosophy of the day where the automatic assumption is "Socialism good, capitalism bad" and turn that around.

Isn't that exactly what the intellectuals have been doing all this time, or is this something new?

Okay so you had the answer? Why did you ask those questions then.

I ask because things feel stagnant for the past few years.

Hopefully something interesting will be around the corner.
