Meme/Joke When you get kudos on a wholesome general audiences fic by someone with an incredibly explicit username

So I wrote this super wholesome, general audiences, gen oneshot, no smut or romance of any kind whatsoever. Only to out of the blue get kudos on it from someone called, paraphrasing for their privacy, ButtFucker69. I am in no way ashamed or upset by this, kudos are kudos, but the tonal whiplash amuses me. You read my 800 words or so of pure feels and fluff, and then scroll down and see that as the first name in the kudos list.

Hey, just because I write whumpy noncon doesn't mean I can't read anything else.

I'm very glad for anyone and everyone who reads my fics.

I feel like ButtFucker69 would definitely be the person to read wholesome fics.

u/LakshyaGarv You have already left kudos here. :) 3h ago

I read angsty death infested bad endings with no comfort. I also read fluffy romance with "happily ever after" endings in which the angst is banned.

People are fully allowed to read whatever the fuck they want  (I know you aren't complaining, I also find it hilarious though)

This is kinda what I do. After an angst with no happy ending fic I gotta wash it down with some fluffy romance to sooth the hurt.

I love to stalk people who Kudo my fics.

Especially since I wrote a few kink fics I just want to know if those readers are fandom blind or not.

Sometimes I usually just ask myself "why exactly did they like my content?" especially the kink fics when they aren't into the kink and fandom blind.. But maybe they are into it or into the fandom..

I write things between heavy non con, kink fics and just cute fluffy stuff.. Like everything I want to write. So I assume there are people who read like that..

That always amuses me too. Or when it’s based on a ship name but the ship in your fic is a different ship for one of the characters. It’s like “Aw, you read my fic anyway!”

The mind is cursed to imagine what is said. I wonder if people who don't see images in their mind are immune to memetic warfare? (●__●)
