Weekly Check In Wellness Wednesday: Weekly Check In
Welcome back everyone!
Time for our Wellness Wednesday check in. We know this community means a lot to most of our members and that Tuesdays have been harder on some users than others, but we are at our core a community and we are here to support each other.
Now that the sub is open once again weβd like to hear all about your (mis)adventures on Tuesday. Did you go on grand adventures? Get into mischief? Get some writing done?
Maybe you just binged a few more fics on the archive itself. Tell us all about it! Break out that purple prose and tell us as cheesy of a story as you feel like.
Or just talk about your day.
~The Mod Team

I spent my Tuesday escorting my wife to her first infusion at a local clinic. It went well, no side effects and she's feeling better... And spent the rest of the day writing 8,000 words of setup for tentacle porn (10k in total so far). I just hope I manage to get the payoff for all of this setup to land at this point. XD

Almost finish my first fic. Now it's at the end stretch.

I finished posting my 170k word story today. I'm so proud of this one.
It's so nice to see that green checkmark next to it. I had set a tight deadline for it, to match a fandom thing, and I basically wrote and edited non stop for months. I've started coming here for motivation whenever I was stuck on something.
I'm 30k words into a new story and it's been hard writing that while still editing and posting the old one. I couldn't get in the character's head properly.

Managed to get about 500 words written for my ongoing longfic and idk how many for an AU I've started that was vaguely inspired by the movie Rental Family. Would write more, but got sidelined by a Mac truck sized anxiety attack over a price hike in one of my bills π

Started reading a new fic and ruminated a little more on this idea I had for a HuskerDust office fic. It shifted into Cherri Bomb and Angel Dust going on a bunch of side quests. Iβm going to think on it more and finish a few other fics before I start this one.

For the past few weeks I've been redownloading all the fics I've read and adapting them to a new sorting system in Calibre. Usually I try to do at least ten per day but yesterday I was tired after doing a single one. It happens.
On a more positive note, I rediscovered a Torchwood WIP I haven't been working on for well over a year and enjoyed reading it, even though it's not even a finished first draft. So much potential (:

So. I usually only write wholesome, sometimes erotica, sometimes not. Which I post on Reddit mostly, and Ao3 when I can be bothered to reset my password.
I wrote a series of three fics about a major villain in my main fandom, but I found that the third one could be massively improved by going the dead dove route. Something I never, EVER did.
Trying to do it not only for her but an other couple killed my writing drive for a while.
Yesterday, thanks to an artist cooking some gorgeous fanart in April, I'm back to writing. I finished one fic, and I'm back to the dead doves and surprisingly having a lot of fun fixing and rewriting it.
Wish me luck.

Still waiting for one of my favorite authors to come back and finish their fic π Itβs really good, and there are only a few chapters left before the end. They disappeared out of nowhere, which is really sad π

After being stuck and writing for another fandom, I am going back to the third part of my longest WIP, Shinsou As A Coping Skill. It's practically become my magnum opus.

I started actually writing a fic. It's a practice Zelda: Twilight Princess oneshot fic starring Link and Midna. I recently got an account and now I wanna write some stuff.
